I have been using Crest White Strips and don't see any improvement. My dentist tried to sell me "Liquid Smile", but the reviews are not stellar. The cost of trays was about $225, which is more than I wish to spend.

First hand testimonials are welcome for any product that you would recommend...

Crest Whitestrips are garbage, I agree!

I asked my dentist about doing whitening and they basically talked me out of it...I'm an A2 on color and was told that I'd be lucky if I could get 2-3 shades whiter (1-2 more likely) but that it wouldn't be that noticeable (maybe a tad brighter but nothing like you see on celebrities). I was also quoted a similar price (maybe a little more) so to me it's not worth it. If you do have darker teeth, it may be worth it to you. The bulk of the cost you were quoted was for custom-molded trays which you only have to do once; When you want to do another treatment, the gel refill stuff is maybe about $50 I think. I want to say on average people do it about 1-2 times a year for maintenance.

My husband and I used the Target up & up 1 Hour Intense Whitening Kit the day before our wedding. We got a little lazy with regular whitenings using other methods and needed something fast. We bought this one because it was really cheap. It worked exceptionally well. I was actually really surprised at just how well. It has faded somewhat since we are both very heavy tea/coffee drinkers. We now plan to use this once every 6 months for maintenance and right before any big events.
