Teens

The three teen boys in our group most enjoyed the Segway tour at EPCOT (have to be 16, I think), also had fun at a Braves spring training game, and rented a boat (with us-the adults) from OKW. They also loved the freedom to come and go as they pleased, meeting up with us mostly just for meals. Boma was a big hit. Of course the parks were fun, too, but assume that is a given!

Lets see, 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, Downtown Disney, Disney Quest, pools at the resorts, water craft rentals, need I go on :confused3

When I was a teen, I liked to kiss boys on the rides. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I grew up in Florida and went to WDW every few years as a child, but it was not until high school that I started going all the time. My senior year alone, I think I went six or seven times with various school groups/clubs/senior night/ church groups/ etc.

I loved the freedom to be "on my own". It made me  Disney even more than I had when I was a kid.

I think this is the root answer. It probably doesn't matter so much what precisely they do, but rather to get the taste of freedom and independance. WDW is a great place for these types of first experiences. Give them their room card with charging priveliges, you tell them what the limits are and say "have a great morning, we'll meet up for lunch at...." Not that the whole time should be spent this way, but I think some time each day. Listen to me... I am giving parental advice. Have a great time (I assume you're going).

My teens (ages 13, 15 and 19) like to visit all the parks. The two girls (13 and 15 yo) still like the kiddie rides as well as the thrill rides. They'll ride the Pooh ride one minute and then be off on EE the next. My 19 yo ds sticks mostly to the thrill rides (TT, Space, TOT, RNR, BTMR, EE....). They also love the water parks, mini golf courses and shopping in DD. Renting watercraft is another favorite.
My ds does like to wander off on his own and will use disney transportation to get back and forth. Some days he just likes to chill at the resort or by the pool. With everyone having cell phones, it's so easy to keep in touch and meet up for meals etc.

Mine are 12,13,15 and they loved renting those mouse boats at the Coranado. (They were old enough to ride them by themselves there.) DH and I got a couple of Margaritas, chips, and salsa and watched them buzz around. Fun for all!

Also we were at SSR and the three of them went over to DTD by themselves for lunch and shhopping. They thought that was cool.

Like the others said , they would go off together and do the crazy rides and meet up with us at lunch or dinner. It really was the most freedom that they've ever had and I think that they loved it. (so did my dh and I. :goodvibes )
