Teens going on the Oct. 29 2005 Cruise

OK You can get the info on GOTCHA at the 411 on Saturday night at 10:30PM in the Stack. The registration is Sunday night in the Stack at 10:30 and from 12noon-12midnight on Monday is GOTCHA. When you show up at the Stack at noon on Monday, you get a person to "kill". You're given they're alias and you have to find their picture on the board so you can know who to "kill". You are the only person who knows who you're assigned to "kill". The person you're trying to "kill" doesn't know who's after them. You get points for the way you "kill" that person. Once you've "killed" that person, you get another person to "kill". The person with the most points at the end of the night for "killing" people, wins. Don't quote me on this but I think you get like 5 points for "spooning" (poking someone with a spoon), 10 for "poisoning" someone's drink (getting someone's drink and putting a piece of tape with the word poison on the bottom, 15 for "water torture" (dumping water on someone's head), and 25 for "kiss of death" (putting lipstick on and kissing someone on the hand). You're also trying to get the three Stack workers, the Stack manager, and a mystery crew member. You can only "kill" the person you're assigned and the crew members (they're really hard!). Anyway, that's the scoop on GOTCHA. If you have more questions let me know or go to the 411 or GOTCHA registration at 10:30 in the Stack.

It is so much fun! I've never won, but I got to ten 'til twelve. Then I heard that the mystery cast member was in the elevator lobby right below us. I raced down there, spooned him, and got 50 points. I turned around to go back up and before I got to the stairs I was spooned as well and the person who spooned me won with 10 points (two spoonings). Another time I made it until dinner and then in the time between first dinner and second dinner seatings (when the atrium is REALLY crowded) I got chased around by these two guys, both of which were faster than I was and spooned me after about fifteen minutes. It's a lot of fun, though. I've played three times and really enjoyed it.

My sister played that on our last cruises. It looks like fun. I won't be 13 until February :sad2: and that's a game they do with teens. Oh well.

From DCL:

Disney Cruise Line's Disney Magic will get an outdoor movie screen and other new features in October during its regularly scheduled dry-dock. Among the new additions is a jumbo LED movie screen, which will be installed on Deck 9. Guests will be able to watch movies on the 24-by-14-foot screen while relaxing on the sundeck.

The Vista Spa and salon will be expanded to include three indoor/outdoor treatment suites. Each suite will features an indoor treatment room connected to a private outdoor verandah with personal hot tub, open-air shower and a chaise lounge.

The fitness center will nearly double in size, providing more space for exercise equipment and private one-on-one consultations.

In addition, several conference rooms will be converted into a new hangout for kids, making this the fourth location onboard just for youth activities. The new nautical-themed space will have computer and video games, arts and crafts and movies on several plasma screens. The space will also feature a kid-size replica of the ship's bridge, complete with LCD screen "windows" that give children a first-hand glimpse of the captain's view via live video feed from the actual bridge. And kids will be able to play a simulation game steering a ship in and out of ports around the world.

Sounds nice, huh?
