Teens and MNSSHP

We are going to WDW in October as an extended family. We would like to take the 10 year old to MNSSHP (None of us has ever been). Will a 12 year old girl and 15 year old boy enjoy the event? The 15 year old has gone to Universals Halloween Horror Nights twice. He is "cool," but not too cool for Disney. The 12 year old girl is the one we worry about. Opinions or suggestions?

My boys are 11, 17 & 19 (turning 12, 18 & 20 next month!). They all love it and ask every year if we are going.

We went in 2009 and took my DS21, DD17, Niece 18 and DS4 and everyone had a blast. I do think you have to have a Disney attitude about it and not worry so much about being "cool". All my kids danced at the parties and had their pictures made with all the characters.

My nephew was 17 the first time we went to the Halloween party. He said he wasn't going to do anything just ride the rides. Boy that didn't last long. We had split up while we took our kids (1 and 3 at the time) to the parade. He was with his mom and step dad, and cousin. They were only going to ride the rides. When we finally met back up with them, he had a bag of candy from trick or treating and was talking about the dance party and other things that were going on. I said to him, I thought you weren't going to do anything but ride the rides. He said that was before he got there and saw everything. And he has went since then and loves the trick or treating and the fireworks and the parade. Take them.
