I am afraid its nearing the end. My kids do not get excited about disney anymore
Anyone else have teens that have lost intrerest? Is there any hope? Will they ever get it back?
My son who is now an adult (but will always be my baby)
lost interest at about age 12. He hated the thought of going to vist Mickey Mouse. Thank goodness at around age 17 he came to hs senses.
DD on the other hand is refusing to come on the next trip. Siting some dribble like schoolwork coming first
I do not know who raised these kids?

This is the same kid that was very disappointed to discover that he probably wouldn't get to choose the location of the wedding, but they could go to WDW for their honeymoon if he wanted.
I can't understand how anyone could NOT get excited about Disney! We went often growing up, but my parents also took me when I was in highschool, and I was able to bring a friend along. I can remember being so excited and loving every minute of it! Hopefully they are just in a rut and will soon see the light! Long live Mickey!!
Anyway, they still seem pretty interested in going to Disney. I keep asking them if they are going to get there, be bored and then whine about coming home to be with their friends (my biggest fear), and they tell me no. They say there is so much to do, they won't get bored.
. She goes to WDW, but not willingly. And we have to make a lot of compromises (riding Tomorrowland Speedway just for her, etc).
I don't see how anyone could not be excited? It's beyond me..
