Teenagers on their own and using ddp for CS?

Okay so in another thread I was asking about how safe it is to let our teenagers go through the park split up from us, but then I got to thinking about what to do for their counter service credit for the day. I've never done DDP so I'm clueless about how they count the credits. Do you have to show a particular person's room key card to deduct the credits or are all the key cards connected from the one account? Do you understand what I mean? So like let's say the 17, 14, 13 and 11 yr olds go off to ride the rides and they get hungry for lunch, can they go to a counter service location and get lunch on their own? Or do we have to be with them for it? Or maybe I'm misunderstanding how the DDP credits work?

Thanks in advance :)

Every KTTW card will show the DDP on it. Your teens can present the card at the CS location and 'charge' the lunch. All credits are pooled on your account so they'll be accessible to everyone.

Hi

Can you direct me to the 'safe for teenagers' post as would like to read it and cannot find it.

Many thanks

Excellent! That makes it soooo much easier for all of us :)

My 13 and 8 year old did CS DDP at the end of our stay without us. They wanted sushi in Japan and I didn't. They went there and handled it all themselves. If they know what they generally get and aren't afraid to ask questions, I think it's fine. I told them to make sure and say they wanted to use CS dining credits.

Oh that's wonderful to hear! Yeah, they're not afraid to ask for what they want. I'll explain it to them fully before we go. Thanks!!!

The CS credits are the least of your worries. :lmao: Four Teen/Tweens loose in an amusement park for the day are gonna put a hurting on your snack credit account! :scared1: :yay: They pass it they'll want it and it will feel "free" to them; oh my. :cool1:

Just know that going in and the remember to breathe in, breathe out! :rolleyes1

Actually, in our group my Mother ie. Grandma was the snack queen. But how do you manage Mom's consumption. :rolleyes1 Yup, exactly what I did.

Oh no...We will lay down the law first that they're only allowed to use one CS and one snack credit a day and the rest is out of their own pockets. If they don't follow the rules the first day then they won't be allowed out on their own again ;)
