teenage dilema

My DD (15) has a long gown style dress she wants to take with her to wear to Tritons. Will this be to dressy or should she wear something nice but not as fancy? She also wants to know if there is a teen dance that she should pack for. Help with her teenage dilema!!! (Such problems)

People dress up to varying degrees for the Triton dinner. We saw many people who were very dressy. I would say let her bring it. How many times will she get to use it? Might as well get your money's worth!

As for teen dances, I don't think there is anything that they would be dressing for especially. They might have a party, but it would be very casual.
