Teen ordering from children's menu - Les Chefs, Le Cellier, Mama Melrose, 50's PT??

I have a teen who will likely want to order from the childrens menu at some if not all of these restaurants. (We will not be on the dining plan.) I'm wondering if the waiters are likely to allow this. I realize the waiters don't have to allow this, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any recent experiences with something like this.

I haven't done this at the restaurants you listed, but we did do this back when CRT was a "normal" restaurant. My DD got a larger size portion of the kids meal. They marked the price up...actually it was double the cost of a kid's meal but it did have double they food. Most of the time they want to make you happy so it wouldn't hurt to ask. Hopefully someone with experience at the restaurants you listed will give you more info.

our almost 15 yr old is very very picky, she almost always orders off of the kids menu, While at WDW we have never had a problem, we have done it on and off of the dining plan, actually when we are on the dining plan and she orders off of the kids menu disney is definately making ourt in their favor.
