Okay I just stole this from yahoo answers, so thank you Frank M.
First of all, you should be at least 18 to use Alli. Plus a friend of mine suffered an embarrassing side effect from using it. The side effect? An uncontrollable bowel movement. That's right, she was at work when it happened. I don't want to get too graphic here, but it wasn't pretty.
One way to motivate yourself is to get a pen and notebook out and write down the goal you want to achieve and put a date on when you want to achieve it.
Not only the ideal weight you'd like, but the body type. What good does it do to be 110 or 115 lbs and your body looks like a stick with no curves. That's not attractive, trust me. You need to exercise. Quick fixes never work. This needs to become part of your lifestyle you do for the rest of your life.
PATIENCE is one of the keys to weight loss. For people trying to lose weight, it's never fast enough. You must be patient. Lose 2 lbs this week, a pound next week, maybe 3 lbs in the next two weeks thereafter. Soon you'll look up and notice that your clothes are hanging off of you. Those pounds add up and after 6 months you might have lost 35 lbs!
Again, determine what body type you would like to have. Write it down. Don't resort to looking to movie stars and celebrities in People magazine or US magazine as role models to follow their crash diets. They have deep pockets that can allow for the best personal trainers to help them stay motivated and the freshest food and the time to exercise properly. You're a teen with probably limited funds and a lot of stuff going on.
Get a picture of someone you admire with the body type you'd like. Paste it somewhere you can see it all the time. Maybe in your notebook or in your locker at school, on the back of your bedroom door, etc.
Go out and purchase that dress or skirt that is the size you want to be and hang it up where you can see it everyday. So that the next time you stop in McDonald's, you'll think about that dress or bikini you want to wear this summer and avoid the burger and fries.
Be realistic and get to work on building that body and leave the pills and easy fixes to the naive and gullible.

I guess I am the naive and gullible.
