Our boys have not been to WDW for 4 years. They are itching to go back. What will they enjoy at age 16???? Thanks!

As a 16-year old girl who never grew up, I love everything at Disney (including Winnie the Pooh,Dumbo, meeting characters, etc.)

However, my female cousins and family members of the same age don't agree (we went together last August). They mostly wanted to do the "thrill" rides and dubbed "cool" rides (ie. PotC and, apparently, the Mad Tea Cups.) Parades and character meets did not happen. Unfortunately, the eldest male relatvie I have is only 10, so I'm not much help on that fronteir.

Nonetheless, I hope I was of some help.
Have the most magical trip of all!:woohoo:

Hi there! I have two boys that have been going since they were 4 and 6 yo. They are now 16 and 18, and our 16 yo DS is going with us in two months. His priorites are pool time, water parks and Disneyquest. So we are getting him a plus pass to go with our premium AP's. He also likes to be able to go from park to park just to do the 'big' rides like ToT, RnRC, EE, TT, etc. He will break down and see Fantasmic as well. I'm sure your boys will find lots to do!

We went last year with my 16 year old nephew. He really enjoyed Typhoon Lagoon, Disney Quest the arcade in our hotel. He also must have gone on Everest about 6 times in a row. ( with the help of our baby swap and the single rider line) He actually liked meeting certain characters, like Jasmine, Belle ect.
We also let him sleep in a few mornings which made all of us MUCH happier.

My DD, DS(17) & I just got back 2 weeks ago and my DS's favourites where:

Typhoon Lagoon
RnR coaster
Space Mtn
Expedition Everest
BTMR
Riding a Surrey Bike at Boardwalk
and Shopping at the Virgin Megastore at DTD

Hope this helps :goodvibes

Now that they're old enough to do some of the backstage tours, you might consider signing them up for one or two. My boys LOVED them. The Segway Tour of Epcot, for example, was a huge hit and we are hoping to do the Segways in Fort Wilderness when we go in December. They also really liked the Backstage Safari at Animal Kingdom and one of my sons also did the Keys to the Kingdom tour and thought it was amazing. It's really fun to learn about how things work and to get a different point of view -and the Segways are just fun to ride.

My oldest is 15 and currently planning our trip in Dec. His priorities are characters (his friend wants to meet the princesses when we go). He also enjoys the thrill rides in each park. Also the late hours are fun for them. It's cool to go on the thrill rides in the dark:confused3 .

We've just announced our planned trip this Nov. and our 15 year old DShas been kinda ho hum about it. Maybe if I get him involved in the planning, it has been 5 years since he's been. Thanks for some of the great ideas, I can pass them on to him.

Our boys also enjoyed using the tennis courts as well as the community halls this past trip. It gave them something different to enjoy when they weren't visiting the parks.
