Teen Boy Christmas Ideas

I will return a DIS favor and re-post an idea from last fall that we used. Last Christmas we gave DS driving school. He was 15.5 and I knew he wouldn't be able to take it at his high school. It was a little over $300, but it covered the permit class and test, two 3-hour driving lessons, and taking the license test with the instructor instead of the MVD. Worth every penny to me in reduced stress and time.

Yep this will be the big birthday gift for dd15 this year. It greatly reduces insurance here too so it's the gift that keeps on giving:thumbsup2

My ds14 has a Wii, ipad, ipod touch, iphone, laptop -- I don't really think he needs anything else electronic, and he's not asking for it.

The one thing he's said he wants so far is Dr. Who memorabilia, which I will reluctantly order from the UK through Amazon if I can't find enough of it at Newbury Comics. He's also getting a stadium blanket from his school, itunes and other gift cards, and whatever strikes my DH's fancy during the last two weeks before Christmas -- because there's always something :rolleyes1

If there's a Broadway show (in Boston where we live, not going to NYC) that looks good early in the new year he will probably get tickets. We are taking him to see John Oliver of The Daily Show fame next month, and he's getting Lady Gaga tickets for his birthday early next year. I like to get him experiences now, rather than buying stuff that will just sit on a shelf.

Love all the ideas, these are making me think of other things -- so please keep them coming! :hyper:

I think I saw some Dr. Who things on thinkgeek.com. HTH.

A little late, but try Think Geek for this. They have tons of Dr. Who, and you won't have to pay for UK shipping. They will probably have a Cyber Monday sale in 2 days. Also, check out BBC America Shop, they'll have some things too.

I'm excited because I found an unexpected sale at Total Lacrosse (same as Total Hockey, but all Lacrosse stuff). My oldest has been drooling over a specific shaft and head from Reebok, but I didn't want to spend over $200 for the set, and my Youngest recently decided to start playing some defense-different sized stick! On Cyber Monday I got both of them the sticks and heads they want for $202.00!!!

They will be getting iPhone 4S upgrade also, unfortunately I don't know I a way to upgrade early without them knowing.
Other than that we bought a 55" tv, so they will get the 42" we had, a variety of video games, personalized signs for their room, nerf, iTunes cards, angry birds Star Wars board type games, personal razor for 13 year old(omg he's growing up too fast), and whatever else I see as I shop.
