I have two boys - 14 and 12. I have been looking at the daily activities calendar and see the activities for them. Does anyone have kids that have done these activities? Are there any that you would recommend? Or any that you would not recommend? They sound fun and a great way for them to hang out and make friends away from mom and dad! :)

Sorry I can't remember what all my DS13 did, but i do know he enjoyed the photo scavenger hunt. He liked the teen activities, and it was a nice break for him to interact with other kids his age instead of just hanging out with his parents and little brother.

When my daughter was 12 she had to go to Aunties. They did not allow 12 year olds in the teen program. That was 2 years ago so it may have changed. They did have one tween program she did. Last summer she was 13 and did a game night and lei making down on the beach.

DD (14) took a photography class. It was led by one of the photo-pass photographers, It did require that you have a DSLR camera, which we did, and she loved it. If either of your boys are interested in photography, they might enjoy it

Thank you! My youngest is 12 1/2. I saw a few 'tween things so maybe that will interest him. I will share this information with both of them!

Sounds like my 11 year old will be hanging with me as she wasn't interested in Aunties when we were there 2 years ago and expect she'll be even less interested now.

My 11 yr old LOVED Aunty's Beach House and all the tween activities there. My 17 yr old enjoyed several of the teen activities, but unfortunately they all happened later at night after Aunty's closed. It would have been nice for us as parents to have both of them out for activities at the same time.

My daughter was 10 and 11 when we went - both times I felt like the Tween area is where they are lacking in programs. Because she wasn't 13 she had to go to Auntie's, which meant she was in the same classes/activities as her 4 year old brother. I think they did one craft night for them though. I would love to see some separation in the activities for that age group.
