Teen admits she lied about facial tattoos

Anyone who has gotten a tattoo knew she was lying! There's no way she could have fallen asleep getting a tattoo, especially that many on your face! She got them, went home, her family and boyfriend freaked and that's when she came up with the "I fell asleep" lie.

I laughed out loud when I first read this story. I would never be able to sleep through one star, let alone fifty-six stars. My tattoo took less than five minutes, but it still wasn't pleasant enough to sleep through.

And really, if you only wanted three stars, wouldn't you get a little nervous as the time went on and on, and he was moving the needle all over your face! :rotfl:

If she has one decent bone in her body she will, at the very LEAST, formally apologize to the tattoo artist.

She looks hideous with all those stars on her face! But that's what she gets.

She told a whopper. The only thing that would make those stars look worse is if they glowed in the dark.

No Way!! She lied??!! I can't believe it

There is a special tattoo ink that in fact does just that . There was a special on tattooing that DH and I watched and this is something new that this one company is coming out with.

I would never do such a thing but the tats don't look awful. I bet dad was furious! Meh...not the first to make a stupid mistake and not the last.

:sad2: Well, no surprise there. I'm not a fan of tattooing, but I'm pretty sure that no tattoo artist in their right mind would perform 56 tattoos "just for kicks" unless they were getting paid for it. And there is no way, NO WAY anyone would just sleep through it!

Any decent tattoo artist would not have done them on her face. He/she would have said no. An actual artist takes that thing very seriously, and would not have tattoo'ed this particular girl on her face.

I think they look horrible. It is almost like paint splats.

Can they be removed? I know even if they are, they will leave scars.

My Bf and I heard about this story over the weekend, and our first thought was that she was lying. She definetly should apologize to the artist that was not a cool thing to lie about. The artist should of talked her out of it though, especially with her being so young and immature. I can see if she was already covered with tattoos but from what I understand it was her first.

Well, that's true. I don't know what the laws are in Western Europe(where this took place) but you'd think the laws of common sense would rule--ie., don't scar your face on purpose! And nobody else gets to do it for you! I believe that in the U.S. those states that regulate tattoo artistry take the position of no tattooing people who are drunk, high, or underage. The laws don't say anything about "stoopid.":headache:
