Does anyone have a good source for teddy bear eyes? I am looking into switching out the eyes on my Duffy bear. I have no problem/fear popping a stitch in order to get to his eyes & assume that I get get the old ones off fairly easy. I believe they are a post with a washer. If anyone has some suggestions on how to remove the eyes easily - I am all ears!
I am having a harder time finding some replacement eyes. Basically I want something with some color. Since I am not able to get a Shellie May here in the States, I was considering modifying Duffy to be a girl. (Sorry if I offend anyone with that!). My daughter already has Duffy and would love a "girly" bear. I figured some different colored eyes and maybe an eye brow piece may be enough to make her look more girly.
