Technical Question for Maclaren Triumph Owners

Hi! To those of you who own Maclaren Triumphs- I just purchased one (thanks to all the great advice here) and the back of the stroller doesn't match what is on the instruction sheet. In the instructions, it shows that the buckle on the back is adjustable. The straps on my stroller do not adjust. Also, I wondered if the straps that snap on when it is reclined, if they are supposed to snap on to the frame when the seat is in the upright position. Mine do not attach to the frame when it is upright. I am not sure whether I should return this one and purchase one with the adjustable strap. Any suggestions and/or input would be appreciated!

I'm not positive. Mine does not adjust, but that is a 2003 model and those don't adjust (2 positions only -- up or down). 2004 and 2005 should adjust. It sounds like you have the directions for the newer model, but that you actually have an earlier model. Check the date of manufacture on the frame of the stroller. If you paid for a 2004 or 2005 then make sure you really got it.

The date on the bottom of the frame says "SEP 04". It's the navy one on the babiesrus site. My local store didn't stock this color. My DS, who is 2 1/2 and 39" tall, fits great in it, but after that big of a purchase I want to make sure that everything is configured correctly.
