technical difficulties

trading window issue: I have that with not one, but TWO of my charachters. Too many pins is usually the issue, but it really is total inventory. The key is: When adding an item - add only ONE item and wait for the text to appear beneath that the item has been added and move to the next item. The problem usually starts to occur when you have over 1000 items in your inventory. If you have alot of furniture, dump it off into an empty room. VMK has been told, but as usual, they do not care.
Letter I got back was "your problem has been solved by our last letter" - well, there WAS NO LAST LETTER! LOL

I actually love IE7 - and on my main PC, I never had an issue with the backspace key - although I do run alot of beta on that machine, like Office 2007

I succesfully removed the bad version of IE7 and returned to IE Ver. 6.0.2900.2180 - Backspace does not take me out of vmk so I am happy for now.

Good job troubleshooting this! It definitely sounds like a VMK bug! Report it to the black hole just like you said it here - it might also be a problem with their database, and they'll be glad you notified 'em!

Well I sent a letter to VMK explaining this problem and their response to me was:

"Put all your furniture in your rooms, that should help with your inventory problem" :confused3 :confused3

I guess they missed the part of my letter where I said I have over 2500 pins and a whole bunch of costumes. I carry no furniture in my inventory. I even asked them if they could make a way to delete unwanted pins that you can not sell, or give us a pin album or a closet for our clothes.

Guess I will have to make The Great Ned Pin Quest, and give them away as prizes........ :lmao:

I have been recently considering questing them out as well. Mix them in with a few good prizes so they could get something.

The other options I've thought of on the non-sellable pins
>load them on to one mule character and delete them
>randomly give them away, kind of turns into a version of pass the bottle/hot Potatoe...you don't ever want these back and you don't want to be the recipient.
>give them all to Fly as a test to see if it slows her down anymore and if it actually speeds me up.

I have 40 of each of the NCP pins available, I would have to run several quests.
