Technical assistance needed please!

Hi all! I'm wanting to "pretty-up" my postings....how do I get some disney images to put under my name thingie on the left???? (I believe that's a technical term )
In the next couple of weeks, when I confirm the date, I'll enlist your assistance in helping me set up a ticker!!!!!

The "especially geeky" term you are looking for for the thingy on the left is an "avatar".

And if you look under the DISboard heading, you see an option for "UserCP", click that and a list of things pops up on the left...

click on "Edit Avatar" and pick one!

You can get a "custom" one by uploading it from your own PC, but they have to be a certain size, pixels, etc.

Hi! To get a pic under your name on the left, go to "User CP" (it's on the left on the toolbar on the top of this page), then scroll down to "Edit Avatar" (that will be on the left about 1/2 way down the list) and there should be plenty of Disney images to get you started.

You can pop different smileys/etc into your posts by clicking on the smiley face to the right of the "A" at the top of the text box when you are typing your post.

As to your signature, if you would like to 'pretty-up' that too, stay in "User CP" and go to "Edit signature" and you can put writing/pictures/etc there. Just make sure you don't go above the signature limits (see the thread at the top of this discussion board "All Users: Check Your Signature" if you are unsure).
