Also, I am definitely not crafty at all, but would love to try these on T-shirts for our Sept trip. So I guess I start by going to a craft store and buying a pack of transfer paper? What's your favorite kind/brand? Then I just use my ink-jet printer to print and iron them on the shirts? does it take special ink? will it pretty much use a whole cartridge per design? sorry for all the questions...no lie...really not crafty at all, but trying to do something neat for my family

I have found that the best transfers are the ones that AmyMickey (another DIS'er) sells on her website. Here is the link http://amymickey.com/. They are a little more expensive than the ones you can get @ the craft store, but the colors come out sooooo much better on the shirts! Also, when I printed my shirts up, I used about 1 ink cartridge for all of the shirts and I ended up with about 40 shirts and I used a cheapo epson printer that came with our laptop. It doesn't take any special kind of ink either.

Yes they will work great on Amy's dark transfer paper.
No, you shouldn't need anything other than your normal color ink.
