Congratulations on going back to the World next year! I hope you enjoy your planning and it takes your mind a bit off how much you are missing your little ones.

You have lots to think about - what restaurants you would like to eat at, what rides or shows you missed last time, new rides and shows you would like to visit, and what attractions outside Disney you would like to see.

Have you ordered the Disney planning DVD yet? That always gets me excited.

If you have any specific questions, pop them on the trip planning forum as we are all happy to help :goodvibes

Laur's princess:

oh thanks for your reply, we were so so lucky to go in a quiet time that we managed to do loads of rides and shows.
i am wondering wether to get disney dining plan and explore the restaurants around the world... any advice on this?

We will be doing the Disney Dining Plan for the first time in September, so I'm afraid I can't advise on this at the moment, though I am sure someone else will. I am looking forward to at as it will give us a chance to eat at restaurants we wouldn't usually. I think you can make it work for you if you like eating at table service restaurants, and if you choose more expensive restaurants to really make the money work for you.

We were lucky enough to get the plan free because of the time we booked and the time we are going, we probably wouldn't have taken it up otherwise as we are usually eating on the run people, and don't sit still long enough for three course meals!

Laur's princess:

would love to hear how you get on with this!!!!feel nervous about exploring and goin to resort restaurants......gf maybe?????

Aww hugs hope your are alright.
We are looking for next year havent been for 3 years  but Im really excited this time around, its a magical place and I hate the Dis Blues so to speak and I agree the only cure is to rebook, so happy planning :goodvibes

:grouphug: to you and and your family!!!

You sound just like me and my family way back when - I got to tell you, the DDP is fab! Have you got the Unofficial Guide? That really helped me sort out what was what and where I wanted to eat...

Get the WDW DVD too, it's so much fun revisiting all the best bits and don't worry, booking all the ADRs is simple! I'm hooked on the American cast members wishing me a nice day... :thumbsup2

We are also hoping to go back to WDW in 2008, after having been suffering from the DIS Florida Blues :sad1: since 2005, although we have managed to relieve the symptoms with a few trips to DLRP. I find spending a lot of time on here :surfweb: certainly helps - and I have also started a " Florida Fund" which inspires me as I can see it slowly growing - we will be half way to our total at the end of July, and still with a year to go. Planning and thinking about future trips occupies a lot of my time, and it does help, as does reliving the magic through other people's trip reports. I still get tearful when WDW ads come on the TV, as we have had such magical and special memories from both there and from DLRP. There is definately no cure for the affliction, all you can manage is symptom control!!

and having a big hug from fellow sufferers!:grouphug:

My kids are away with Nanna & Grandpa this week, so i can relate to how you are missing them. Strange how quite the house is, not to mention tidy!

first thing is 1st - get your self a ticker!
