Oh, hey ladies, and gentlemen if you care to listen in. I went to the dermatologist today for a checkup. At this point, my acne is purely hormonal. [I break out when I PMS.] So my doctor goes into a rant about how I should consider birth control for the acne.

Personally, for that reason alone, I think its absurd. My acne isn't that bad. I get a few breakouts, if that.

If you don't think it's necessary, then don't bother. Docs always insist on stupid stuff like that that you usually don't need.

One of my friends is on it for an ovarian syst.

I just personally believe that my small acne problem alone isn't convincing enough for me to consider it seriously.
