Good Morning Team! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had a quiet dinner at home, turkey breast, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie! Now we have lots of left overs (I love left overs).
We are really glad we started the Christmas lights early the weekend conditions were not conducive to being on a ladder windy and cold all weekend. We did not get as much done on the inside of the house as I would have liked, as Scott said, we decided to take advantage of the great deals and bought a new car jeep 4-door wrangler then had to make room in the garage for it as we did not trade in the old jeep. We had to move the motorcycles and bicycles to the barn to empty out a space in the garage.
We did not get as much exercise as we would have liked over the long weekend, the weather was not cooperating - snowing and windy most of the time! This week I am scheduled for another 18 miler - so far - Friday looks like the best day - it is supposed to be windy today and tomorrow, then cold and snowing for Wed and Thurs. Have a PT appt this morning, will get in a 6 miler with dogs this afternoon - they are really dinghy after not much walking over the long weekend!
Beautiful sunrise this morning! Still windy though.
Scott/Lynn - The lights look fantastic! I especially love the snowflakes on your fence! I've noticed more people putting them up in my neighbourhood as well so running at night is a little more interesting now!
We have found lights like those snow flakes work really well here in the wind, they are flat and we can secure them to the fence with zip ties and they do not blow away!!! We can only have a few of the animals I like, they have to stay in the protected area right by the house.
Denise - take care of the knee!
The new tree we got for the living room has led lights - we actually had to get an un-pre-lit tree in order to use the led lights. Could not find a pre-lit with led lights that was tall enough and thin enough for our area. I think the snow flake lights are also led lights.
Have a great day everyone!
