Honestly, Jon is not doing that great. This has turned his li'l world upside down. Forcing him to stay at school, where he is absolutely terrified, is tough on both him and me.

I am sorry hon...If I had the proof that you do The school system would either pay to transport Joshua to another school or the Bully would have to be moved to another school.
Jon's Civil Rights, Personal Rights, Personal Space.. etc... are being violated. and The School need to be exposed.

Hey kids! What's up??!! Besides some of you all night I mean. And on the weather front, we had a heat wave today. Almost hit 50 degrees!! I got to wash my car!!

Because Rosie was talking about IQ tests, I wanted to see if I'm smarter than the average bear, so I took one. Then it asked me to send the test to friends and I chose not to so I wouldn't clutter up your boxes. I found out I'm supposedly above average and all I could think was, "Darn! Now no one will know!"

Anyway, this is what it said:

Thanks for the everyone! DR is fine and he was so cute when I fell. He popped right up and was like 'Are you OK mommy? Are you really sure your OK mommy? I'm fine, but are you OK?' Little gentleman.

I stopped at Target and got the things I needed to make cookies. The $1 spot had a lot of things. I have about an hour before I have to get the kids so I'm taking a quick cat nap.

I'm glad you and he are OK. We have a big Target. I don't like it. I can't really put my finger on it. I'm just not comfortable in there any more. I loved the old store. It's kind of out of the way for me too.

to all of you that are having sleep issues. I've always had problems off and on. I've tried pills, so far none have worked to keep me asleep and I don't want another 'scrip' to pay for. It can be very frustrating. I don't make this a habit but sometimes I drink something with alcohol if I know I am going to have trouble.

I need to know about a place called McCormick and Schmicks. It's a seafood place in downtown Indy. Doug has us booked there for supper next Saturday. I'm a bit shocked that he went outside our familiar joints. It is Business Casual. I hope he hasn't made a mistake.

Lunch with the bro went very well. I didn't expect him to say much. Boy, he spilled quite a bit. He's putting up a good front. I can tell he is upset. He kept expressing how he is going to help her get a good start 'cause he would feel really bad if she couldn't handle being on her own. Everything is gonna be civil. He thinks she will regret this move. He told her he would go to counseling or whatever she wanted if it would fix things. That's generous but the damage is done I guess. I hate seeing them hurt. Wish I could wave a wand and have it fixed. How many times have we seen women stay with men thinking they will change? Even with the best of intentions, you are who you are.

SIL texted me before I went to lunch and told me not to be hard on him. I told her I wasn't picking sides. She said she told my bro that she intends to remain friends with me. I told her that I would be insulted if she didn't and she is family regardless of what happens.

I guess she found an apartment. I let them both know that if they need help to call. We have a trailer. You call, we haul!

I played domestic Goddess today when I got home. I hoovered with my Bissell (JO) and ran the carpet shampooer too! The house smells nice. That will last about 2 days.

We're in the process of exploring our legal options.

They are refusing to remove the child. It's complicated, as he is also a sped student.

And Jon would fall to pieces if he were moved from the school.

It's such a delicate balance.

I had not idea it was THAT COMPLICATED.. But it would seem to me that SpEd or not... Numerous violations ( at least here in Va) WILL Result in Changes.. and the child would be removed.

I know that because Joshua freaked out one day.. ( computer sharing issues and new students visiting the class) and choked his aide.

There's one here. Yum! It's at the Mall of Millenia so people dress any way. I like to dress up a little when we go out, not jeans, although I rarely wear jeans , but you won't feel out of place if you are. Their fresh fish is flown in daily and I'm sure their meat is good too, I just never get it. Have fun!

I am home with ds and he has a playdate. Hubby took Tink with him to drop off dinner at our friend who lost his wife.
