Hi all!

Jo- :cake: :bday: :cake:
Happy b-day! I made it over to FB briefly, but wanted to send wishes again from here.

Roberta- :welcome: Hope you're feeling better soon! I'm dad to three great kids! One of whom has been sick with a fever the last several days, although yesterday and today its been pretty low grade. Since my work schedule is more flexible than Jenny's (DW), I've been working from home with limited success. I'm an attorney, but please try not to hold that against me.

JenJV- Sorry to hear about your trip plans. Hopefully, they can be fixed without too much headache and expense.

Mel- Welcome back! I need to go back and read your post before I dive back into the work. :coffee:
--------------------------------------------
No time for a full catch-up as I'm taking a brief break. I've made a dent in the stack of stuff I got behind on last week, but it's still too high. :faint:

Here're some    for those who need them from prior pages that I haven't read yet...Back to Mel's post, and then sorrowfully back to the grind.

Have fun y'all! And, be well! :goodvibes

:welcome: back Mel!!!!

Sounds like a wild and crazy time! :teeth:

Can't wait for the pikchurs!

Mel -- Welcome back sounded like fun and laughed at you not letting Bob slow down your forward motion when he wandered off. My mom does this all the time at stores, zoos, parks, museums, and WDW. I just let her go now because it is nuts trying to find her. I just wait for the place to close and grab her at the exit.

pixiedust: Happy Birthday Jo pixiedust:

Happy Super Bowl Sunday FOckers!

I pretty much slept the day away, but boy it felt good and I needed it!

Welcome home MEL!

T - I too can't wait to see you in May, I'm so looking forward to it, as soon as I get back from WDW next week I will be in full planning mode and will bore you with lots of ?'s (haven't been in almost 4 years)

I apologize to the new member, I'm Mo, single mom to 2 pugs and big sister to a 3rd. I live in North NJ near NYC.

Jen -sorry about your trip plans

Carp, can't remember what else I read.

Oh and slate doesn't wear crocs:lmao: Who are you and what did you do with our slatey?????

According to the weather the NYC may be getting a monster snow storm for Tuesday:sad2: At least I can work from home and not go out in the nastiness and the same guy that mows the lawn clears the driveway and front walkway.

And one week from today I will in my happy place:cool1: have I mentioned how badly I need to get away!!!!!!!!!

And one last thing...

HAPPY B-DAY to the Non tea drinking, Non Brit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome back, Mel :goodvibes Glad the trip was a success and SD had a wonderful week! :cool1:

Just a drive by...:drive: Gotta' get dinner going. I hope everyone is having a great Sunday. :wave2:

The Universal Promo was to go to their website, click on Superbowl offer and the 1st 100,000 entries get a weeks free ticket!

Do it!

MEL

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes, it actually snowed here so we went sledging, there is probably only about 1-2 inches but that's tons for us. I've posted photos on FB :thumbsup2 Oh and it's just started snowing again and we're forecast heavy snow for tonight and tomorrow :yay:

The girls made me a cake yesterday and David is now cooking steak :)

Dawn have a great time at the show :goodvibes
It sounds like a perfect birthday, Jo!

We enjoyed the show. I just loved looking over at C's face while she watched it. :goodvibes

Thanks for the tiny TR, Mel! :p It sounds great and I'm so happy you all enjoyed it so much. ::yes::

Welcome back Mel, glad you had a great trip.

Wanted to say welcome to the newcomers. I'm Lessa, I'm 25 making me the youngest of this group and I am also the Canadian rep for the Fockers. ;) I am single but have a great and entertaining family, I think my outrageous brothers must scare all potential boyfriends away. :lmao:

Thanks for the heads up Mel. I just entered me and Jim. Technically it's only one per household, but hey it doubles our chances! If I only have to buy 2 tickets for August that would save some $$$

Jo - Glad you had a fabulous, snowy birthday!

Dawn - Glad C loved the show!:goodvibes

I don't know about everyone else, but I am trying to contract LMAO syndrome.

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

I thought that commercial was freakin' hilarious.

:ssst: I'm hiding. From the people in my house. I just got done jumping on the bed with my nieces to Bruce.

P.S.---don't jump on the bed after eating hot wings. :crazy2:

Please don't shoot me, I'm not watching the Superbowl......we aren't football fans.

Just got Gus into bed. SD heading there very shortly. I am NOT looking forward to waking them up tomorrow morning. Scary!

I made chicken with 40 cloves of garlic, mashed potatos and squash for dinner. The boys were all thrilled with a home-cooked meal. I hate cooking again, but it's nice to be appreciated after eating in resturaunts all week!

Going to go see what Bob wants to watch on TV now. Hopefully Battlestar on DVR....

MEL:banana:

Hi CE! Twins how awesome!! I've never been to IL but I've been to NH a few times to visit and photograph some of the lighthouses. We stayed around the Portsmouth area, I believe. Does your DH get to fly you places, too??

No, strictly a company jet - even the bigwigs' wives have to get special permission to travel. Luckily they are strict, frankly, because it keeps the department aboveboard and ongoing, if you KWIM. ;)

I love Portsmouth - we're not too far away. :thumbsup2

Howdy Fockers! I missed you all SO much!

Missed you, too, and it sounds like a great trip!

Whoops, forgot some important things:

Number of Funnel Cakes consumed on trip: 3
Number of Itzakadoozie pops consumed on trip: 1
Number of Grand Marnier Slushies consumed on trip: 1
Number of Strongbow Ciders consumed on trip: 4
Number of alcoholic beverages smuggled out of a park: NONE (no way)
Number of Brazilian Tour Groups in our way on trip: Millions
Number of fashion challenged people I took photos of: 2
Number of fashion challenged people I SAW: too many
Number of times Bob disappeared from sight ala Waldo: 5
Number of times I actually kept walking DESPITE the fact that I knew we had lost him: 2

Ok, that's all for now.

HEDY: Thanks and SD stands for Slinky Dog, which is DS15's fave on Toy Story.

And, for the record, the dirtiest bathroom on Disney Property is the one in Toontown.

MEL:banana:

I refuse to believe the highlighted one. ;)

It's still snowing :yay:

What a great birthday present for you! :goodvibes

:P.S.---don't jump on the bed after eating hot wings. :crazy2:

::yes:: :scared:

************************************************************
My company's gone and the kids are in bed - late for them, but not too horrible. I'm glad tomorrow is a "no afterschool activity" day, though. They're gonna be wiped...

I'm pleased the game's a game and not a blowout. :thumbsup2

Have a great night, all!

OMG! I actually just choked at the koala being punched in the Career Builder commercial. Should I be shamed for laughing? :smokin:

I'm not watching either. :sad2:

I just put down the work a little while ago, and am just chilling a little before heading off to bed. Jenny and the kids have been out for almost 2 hours already ... :cloud9:

I'm gonna bounce around to a few threads and call it a night.

TTFN!
