Hi all. I posted these on Facebook too, but I wanted to share here. Jimmy also got a small fishtank for himself. HE got 2 goldfish and named them candy and cane. He saw Rocky recently and thought it was hysterical that Rocky names his turtles cuff and link!

Excited? Slate, this is Charleston, South Carolina....this is no place for snow. The only upside is that my younger two will finally get to see it and they will stop harassing me to take them to a colder place. It hasn't snowed here in eight years.
As for my toilets, so long as they flush down, I couldn't care less if they do it clockwise, counter-clockwise, or straight. Keep the water in the bowl and take it away any way you choose.

oh and guess what! I have a customer that comes in every Tues nite to buy powerball tix, $100 worth. 5 tix with 10 numbers for 2 draws. easy peasy for me. EXCEPT I did it backwards on Tuesday! I had 5 $20 tix and he didnt want them. that meant I was stuck with them! I sold $60 worth to customers, but was stuck paying the 40 for the leftover ones..i have 2 tix that are good thru 2/14. $20 each. last night,,Annie (6) comes and sits next to me on the couch, and shes chewing on a piece of one of the lottery tix!!! 
and it was the bottom piece with the serial numbers and bar code!
UFF DA!! I'm keeping it. sorry for a long story!!

We leave early on Thursday. Like buttcrack of dawn early. Like 0'dark thirty early! Our flight leaves Indy at 6:00 am, but the good side is that we get into San Diego at 9:00 am west coast time!
My mom is coming down to watch the girls. They're very excited because Mee Mee spoils them rotten!
MIL is doing okay, I guess. They signed all the closing paperwork for their house this weekend and I put it in the FedEx box this afternoon. She's a bit stressed by all the medical bills that are piling up but Eric finally talked to the hospital to let them know that they won't be getting paid until the insurance pays them. Hopefully that will stop them from bugging her. I think she's doing better physically, but we're a bit worried about her mental state. She's always been a worrywart, but it's gotten a lot worse since the accident. Of course, she has reasons, but it's still a bit annoying and overly dramatic! It will be nice to get away for a few days, but unfortunately, I'm sure she'll call us while we're there.:

Man I am beat tired. I made a stir fry for dinner with chicken and sausage and a bunch of veggies- it came out yummy. I also made blueberry rice pudding. Weird but the fresh blueberries I couldn't pass up and had to use some milk too so rice pudding worked!
KC is home and playing some XBOX, quite loudly, and I am just relaxing a bit.
I am trying to decide where to stay in Atlantic City. We decided to go the day/night after our anniversary just to get away for the day. I found a really good deal at The Tropicana for $49, I think we will stay there just for the cheapness. Drawback- no buffet for breakfast- I love me some breakfast buffet. Why is booking a hotel so hard???!!!
It's hard because it's NOT Disney! LOL.
