I know nuhsing.

OK Sgt. Schultz:rotfl:

::yes:: That's what I think and I thought about complaining, but I decided it was part of her growing up. She's one of the youngest on the team, so everyone else likes the late practices so they can sleep in. :rolleyes2
It's been interesting getting used to the team. It's one of the few things I'm not in charge of, so I'm having to let go and remember she's in middle school now.

I still think that is late for middle school!

Ya'll had a party and I missed it! Shouldn't have watched Little Miss Sunshine.

How was the movie?

:confused3

I plead the fifth.

What happened here yesterday?? I'm assuming another drunken Spanish fest. Suffice to say that i'm not going to be catching up on 25 pages, so if anything important happened, please fill me in!

More like drunken spanish pirate fest!:lmao:

There actually wasn't that much Spanish... :rolleyes1

More pirate from what I could gather!;)

Then it's a good thing the Salt arrived. That's it! Dawn's gangster name is Lemon!!!! :smokin:

Or did we give her one? :confused3

I can't remember?

:rotfl2:

Mary are you still here? Did you do the character meal at IOA when you were there? Worth it? Waht characters were there. All I see on the website is Thing 1 and Thing 2?:confused3

Wow you lot were quiet last night I thought I'd come back to tons and tons of pages :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

We were on the down low so we didn't get Jen banned again. Plus we lost her for a few minutes and a few of us needed IV fluids.

Margie, I assume that's your DD on the thread? She's fantastic. :thumbsup2

Yes that was my Nana. She deleted a lot of what she was going to comment on. She is young and has her whole DIS life a head of her. I am sure she will say something to get in trouble soon enough.

Yeah, it's hard to remember that things change as they get older. It's bedtime issues for me.
I know. :guilty: Why do they have to grow up?

Lemon is for tea... Limes go with tequlia! :smokin:
:lmao:

I forgot to mention that it's a middle school/high school team. So, they are used to it. Baylie's bedtime is 9, so it's not too bad- but I did have to fight the urge to complain. :bitelip:

So, Kirt's not home and I need to talk... :flower3:
I've been looking over my options for schooling Baylie again. It's either public school (which I don't want), homeschooling here at home all through high school (which I don't prefer) or a co-op here that goes through high school. The last one is looking like the winner. It would be $167 a SEMESTER (!!!!) for her to take all her core classes (Language Arts, Math, Science, & History).

Ack! I got a call. I'll be back.

That seems pretty reasonable - private school around here run $4K-$5K, but I don't know if that yearly or for a semester - my neighbor sends her kids.

Would she have the option for languages, etc.?

No - we did not do a character dinner. Sorry - can't help there. I do think that staying at one of their hotels for the fast pass option is the thing to do. We did not do that, but our room was free b/c I got it through a Dockers promotion.

Mel - what is involved in the co-op option?

Little Miss Sunshine was good. I've seen it before. I think I would have had more fun dissing, though. Sounds like ya'll had a lot of fun.

At this rate, I predict we will be starting a new thread in about a week.

We are going to Stay at the Loew's Royal Pacific. We are going to 2 nights before going to WDW. The Front of the Line thing is what really sold me on staying on-site. The only thing that bothers me is they charge you for parking, even if you are staying there. We are getting a really good deal through AAA room with tickets:thumbsup2

The co-op seems like a nice option. The one here in our community is great. The children work with the parents at home most of the time and meet once or twice a week for those subjects the parent can't do at home. They also do a lot of social activities together. Because we all know those poor home school children have no friends, go no place, and are locked in the house sitting at the table doing work all the time :rotfl2:. Seriously if I was able to this is how I would have went with Nana.

It's reasonable because it's a parent co-op. I would have to teach a class worth 8 points to get that rate. The thing is, C and A could both go for the same points I earn for B's classes (because they are the same hours) and $235 a semester but I don't know if I'm ready to do that. :guilty:

I feel like if I do full classes, I'm quitting as a homeschool teacher. I know I'd still teach them and help them with their "homework" on T/Th, but it feels like I'm giving up. With B, I feel like it's the best thing for her at the stage she's at. With A, I could use the break and he could use the structure and discipline of someone else teaching him. So, I don't know...

It would be so great to be done teaching at 11 M/W, then have a few hours to get groceries and run errands. It really seems like the best of both worlds. Less stress, but still lots of time with them to be involved int heir education. Why do I feel so bummed, then?

Good Morning Fockers! :goodvibes

Lucky here! :lmao: I'm off to a Girl Scout Cookie Kick-off today. Oh joy. I'll try to check in later or tonight too see who's around. :teeth:

Have a good day! No hangovers! ;)

That seems pretty reasonable. Are yo concerned that you aren't proficient in the subjects that she needs to be taking at this level?

IT's not quitting missy...it's doing what is best for your kids!:thumbsup2 :grouphug:
