Wow. I'm exhausted...

We have eaten there twice... For me is "So so" for lunch.. never did Dinner.. But I imagine it will be similar to Chef Mickey .. but with Pooh Characters.
Our First year there it was the kids Favorite.. it was also their FIRST CHARACTERS... so double the excitement.

Here's the scoop.... we're now staying 7 nights/8days in 3 Studios. I did this for my own mental health. I need my own space, people. So now it looks like Andy and I will be traveling alone next year and we can get a nice big villa at Kidani for 10 days and not deal with anyone!

My co-leader emailed this morning to tell me she won't be able to make it to the meeting tomorrow/Valentine Party, so I'll have to fly solo.

Shouldn't she find her replacement?

School was fine and I went to the store, then I've been just hanging out whilst D works. We took the dog on a walk together, but though it's sunny, it's not terribly warm, as it's pretty windy. Still, the sun is nice!

Thanks everyone. The potential for layoffs isn't unexpected, and we have a system in which those with the most tenure coupled with excellent performance records (that would be me) should be the last to go. But you never know, so I'm a little concerned. All the more reason NOT to book any cash ressies right now.

I won't have any definite information for weeks, maybe months. Our dept. first has to decide how to cut 30% of a $2mill budget that's already 70% payroll. Then it goes before the board to decide if we really have to take that much of a cut or not. The budget won't be finalized until mid-summer, so a lot can happen. FUN.

Thanks for letting me vent; like in years past, it's starting to get ugly around here as we all try to make our work seem essential. I'm trying to stay out of it all, and just do my job as I've always done.

We are in the same boat V. They are talking either 2 week furloughs or layoffs. If they go the layoffs route it would be about 40 people we could lose....not pretty. Of course nothing will be determined until the new fiscal year starts.
