MizD--how's it going? Are you adjusting to being at home? When do your kids go back?? (it gets easier then but more running after school!)

I am really loving being home. I haven't had as much time to dis as I thought. DS6 started school a week ago. DD2 actually seems better behaved since I've been home. Even DH commented that she seems happier and better. She's still a little devil though.

Yay V. Wish I could join you for the lapus. I only have a week to go and I can't wait. I've been practicing my High School Musical moves for the studios.

The kitchen is gorgeous. (yes disneydad, that is the correct spelling)

umm there isn't one famous person that he has been compared to. But I have heard a few, and they have been all from people on the boards. lol one was the main guy in 24 and the other was that rocker guy from american idol... i know there was another, i just can't think. jen

I remember kinda stressing when I first quit being full-time and the kids were still at home--I planned each activity like they were in an all day preschool. It was exhausting for all of us. I quickly learned to just pace ourselves!
The girls are liking school. AE is going to her first high school football game tonite as an official freshman so she thinks that's pretty cool. Stressing me to see her looking so grown up (and having to remind her that she's not yet)!



Well, thought I'd grab a moment and post some vacation memories........
We went to DESTIN, Florida which is in the panhandle on the Gulf side. (no relation to the aforementioned Diaper ointment!)
If you've never seen this side of FL, it's called the "Emerald Coast" for it's pretty aquamarine waters and sugar white sand.
Here's some of my favorite pics of the 9 days....

(she caught most of these by herself on a deep sea fishing boat!)

Oops! That does go against my rules--but somehow it seems to be different when they're 10! (and you will NOT be seeing any of my bathing suit pics........ever.........I am using them as an incentive to get my rear back to Weight watchers....)

Great pics TE. We went to Destin once and it was lovebug season. I hated it! And when I got in the water, these sand fish kept biting my feet. We usually go to Myrtle Beach, but I grew up in that area and that is where my family is from.

Good luck with the first HS football game. Growing up in such a small town, I went to the HS games from first grade on, but I can imagine it's different for most folks.

OK, guilty pleasure time. I watched HSM with the boys tonight, and now have on "Princess Diaries 2". As you may have guessed, D's away!

Hi everyone....We are back from the World and I am I am also very tired. The plane was 2 hours late leaving this morning and so we wound up getting in around 6:00 instead of 3:00. I will catch up with everyone over the weekend and start my TR too.

Thanks! We all ended up going to the football game last night--I moved away from this area in 1990 and have lived all of the US, so it was strange to go back to my alma mater.........and see them get beat again by our local rival! Stranger still, we are planning to buy season passes. (somewhat cause I stressed the whole evening over my teen sitting too close to someone she is just "talking" too......then I called her 3 times when she left her seat and followed her to the concession stand! Am I over reacting?? And whas is "we're not dating, just talking now" ???

Oh.......and I had taped Princess Diaries 2--so BA and I fell asleep watching it! We have taped HS musical 2 (and the sing-a-long) so I pretty much have it memorized now!

Probably a drive from Miami (well, it was 12 hours from VA)--but it's the closest water and beach that looks like the Caribbean.

I dont have much advice as I have 2 boys however strong medication sounds like a great option
