Just a quick post. Sorry for all the sickies, for those who lost someone, jodi: slow down girl!, Kat: great pics, Angela: glad you got to see JO!, Mary: hope hubby is good.

Bob textd me that he's on the plane! Only 15 hrs or so till he lands. Unfortunately, he's landing in Toronto and has to then DRIVE 5 hrs home. He might wait till Sun am to do that.

I'm shaky but not barfin anymore. Sorry TMI. I'm weak and I feel gross. I want a shower and maybe a peice of toast.
The good news is that MIL and SD got well in 24 hrs or so.

Just hanging out this morning. Jimmy is watching George of the Jungle (the new one ) and I am playing n the computer. Jim was up late grading papers and copybooks so I am letting him sleep until it is time for us to leave for Hersheypark. It is supposed to be cold, but I think we will be ok and should have fun. Not leaving until about 10:00 so I'll probably check back in! If not, have a good day everyone

Good Morning All ! Well it's been a dramatic weekend so far !! The girls are in Canada at the Cheerleading Competition !! So at midnight Samantha calls in tears she forgot her cheerleading shirt! So after being yelled at and threaten with the dreaded "Your cell phone is gone" Judy gives me directions to take it to her at 6 a.m. So good Grandma that I am I am up and across the bridge on VERY slippery roads when Judy calls and says Samantha called and also forgot her :"lollies " So back I go and at customs they were questioning about where I was born and did I have my birth certificate or naturalization papers , which I didn't and I'm thinking here we go Rosie Arrested !! But he lat me go ,I guess I didn't look like a threat to the nation !! Then I get lost coming back into the Falls , I know ,Didn't get lost in Canada but ended up on the parkway instead of the street I wanted !! Well Judy is calling "Where are you" Finally I get the shirt to her and she heads to Canada ! Samantha is sooo in troauble when she gets home tomorrow !!She's 13 and when you say "Do you have Everything , are you sure " !So I hope the rest of the day goes well

As for the investigation, I had all my notes and she was sooo impressed as I had actual exact times . She asked if I thought the staff were covering and I got mad and said No Way! You better check the time the call went into 911 and what time it arrived and check with staff who said they took their sweet time when they did arrive !!I laid the blame exactly where it belonged ! I'm sick of ambulances and firetrucks taling their sweet time becuz it's a Group Home !!I can't speak for other municipalities but here that is what happens !!

I have the brewing and the fam is still asleep, so I figured I'd pop in quickly to catch-up and post an update on our June trip planning.

I think DD9 may have come down with a cold, so she'll be taking it easy today. A friend is in town this weekend, so I'm going to try to catch up with him this evening.

I just got off the phone with Disney Dining. I was able to make a sum total of one reservation for our June trip. The system is still only taking reservatiosn for most places until March. So, we're booked for our traditional first night dinner at CM to say hi to

We had a planning meeting last night with DD11 on the restaurant and touring plan based on last years crowd projection information at TGM. DD11 and DS6 both have birthdays during our June trip, so we're trying to plan special meals for them. Since we'll be at MK for DD11's b-day, she wanted to try Tony's. I don't think I've been there in the last 20 years. Since DS6 b-day is our last day, we were thinking of doing the HDDR the night before. So, I guess I'll be keeping a keen eye on the updates for when the new ressie system is up. When Mrs. T and I did HDDR for our anniversary trip a couple years back we made the ressie at the 180 day point; we got the table for two right in front of the center of the stage and interacted with the performers. I was hoping that HDDR, at least, was one of the exceptions to the new ressie system, but alas no.

Looks like the kids are waking, so it's time to start the french toast. I'll check in again later on.

PS DS6 asked about the hugs above, and I told him that several people were not feeling well or were sad. He wanted to send some hugs as well, as I pass the mouse to him.

I'm up and I will be leaving in just a few minutes. I'm gonna run into a little bit of snow as I go through West Virginia.

Uncle Doug's Boys are performing the ceremony as they are both Preachers.. and I have been asked to sing... I told them I had not made up my mind yet if I would be there on Sunday.
I need there to be 3 of me. I still have not decorated for Christmas.. and right now.. it's getting too late to do it.
Have not done the first card NOR got my Secret Santa gift. How does everyone feel about "Happy New Year Cards !!!

Thanks for all the hugs. I'm really okay - we've known my uncle was declining for a long time, so it wasn't unexpected. Just sad. Last of the three boys in my dad's family of 5 siblings to pass, all (including my dad) young and due to heart issues. Yes, I monitor my cholesterol closely.

In brighter news, I got me a new cell phone! It's not very exciting - no camera, no internet, etc. But when you consider what I've been using:

Today is cleaning day and decorating day! I'm cleaning the house and decorating for Christmas...as my Thanksgiving decorations are still up.

We have our annual holiday light parade tonight, we then we'll head there.

Tera is on her plane to Baltimore as we speak in order to take Kaia to the NIH for her specialist appt.

I FINALLY picked up my cards and gifts yesterday. I'll get those done this weekend as well!

Ok, I'm happy to report that this girl is CLEAN! Sheets in washer, dishwasher running, fed both boys bfast and ate a piece of toast myself.

Get behind me Stomach Flu. I'm back in charge.

Gus has drum lessons in about 45 mins. We're having a heck of a snowstorm right now, but they finally cleared the main rd. Plan on stopping at the grocery store on my way home.

Well thanks for amusing some of you with my antics this morning ! Judy later told me she got lost in Canada so now I feel a little better but dang it all I live here !! Had a good rest of th day I went to PO to mail amongst other stuff c/os and christmas cards to my buddies on the train!!I haven't finished yet but at least it's a start !! Judy and I went to Sam's club and my intent was to try all the samples she wanted to shop !!So we walked out $150 poorer, but got a real good deal on a carhart jacket and several DVDs that were a good price for Xmas !! I think I'm getting Tink!! SSHhhh it's a secret

Hey everyone...slow day around here huh?

For me as well. I got up late and didn't do too much. It's hard when KC is working for me to do much since we are in the same room and I try and be as quiet as i can so he can get things done. I did finish wrapping what I have and packed up my boxes to be mailed (including the secret Santa and ornament). Thats about it tho. I didn't even make breakfast, we ordered from the diner.

I even took a nap. LOL.

Tonight we are going to the grocery store tho and they are open until 11pm so us people who keep the vampire hours can go shopping.

Tomorrow much the same because KC is working. OH and the super, of course, didn't show up to paint the spot he [patched yesterday....no shocker there...prob won't see him until friggin Tuesday now!

I'm at the hospital waiting on Mr Diz. He is done with surgery and in the recovery room. I was thankful they gave him the happy shot right before rolling him out. Last time they gave it to him too soon and I kept telling him to quit talking, but he wouldn't listen. The nurse came in to take his blood pressure and as she walked out the room he said, "Did you see how huge her (chest) are?" Then he accidently flashed all the nurses when he got up to go to the bathroom. His room was across from the nurses station.

This time, they gave him the shot and the nurse said it kicks in fast. He was giggling when she gave him a pill to take. Two more nurses came in and he told them to call him "Kdiddle" because "That's my rockband's name."

He kept blowing me kisses and asking me to give him kisses as they rolled him down the hall.

And Brack - they gave him thigh high pantyhose to wear.

I found out today I lost an Uncle. Mom's Brother died ON Mom's Birthday. Funeral is Sunday and Visitation is Saturday evening.
