Katt- I'll have to make something like this too on Christmas morning. The little kids didn't like my baked french toast.

That's just not right.

These Frittata's/Casseroles whip up pretty quick.. I'd say I have 15 minutes prep work because I am usually using already cooked leftover meats.So all I do is chop it up.

Morning all! I'm back to work and taking a quick break from my 279 emails.

Don't you just love it. And Jim wonders why I check work email when I am out for a long period of time (more than a day )

I swear I think my cat has a dogs soul trapped inside her body as she just loves to play fetch. My mom bought her a new toy a few days ago and she just loves the thing. It is a small red glittery mouse. Well Amber will not stop harassing me to play fetch with her with this darn toy. My arm is sore from having thrown it a million times over the past 3 days. If I try and ignore her and her mouse she just sits there and cries and cries.

I am at work and I feel like carp. Sinus/cold thing going. No fever or anything. I just can't breathe, which means breathing through my mouth, which now is giving me a dry/sore throat

Anyone taking advantage of any of the cyber deals out there on Cyber Monday. I got Jim an 8 in digital picture frame with a 2gb SD card CHEAP! I am going to have to do some more window shopping. Alot of places are offering great discounts and free shipping!

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll prepare what I want to put in it (Ham & cheese for those two) and put in in ziplocks for the morning.

I went to start packing my case and ummm will need to take 2 We're all taking some pressies for the CM's in charge so some of the things I'm taking are 2 boxes of English tea and a big tin of chocolates, also for a current panel member I'm taking the latest Harry Potter book so definitely need 2 cases. I need to go and check the VA website as I'm sure I'm allowed 2 cases max weight of 23kgs but I need to check! I wanted to keep it to 1 for ease and also I'll only have to wait for one case off of the carousel but never mind more space to bring stuff back

The weather in FL is similar to here and I prefer short sleeves and pants for bed. Make sure you don't wear a nightgown- you never know when you'll toss and turn and wake up with your drawers showing, which will make it awkward with your roommate and you.

I think Camryn's sick today. Last night she said her tummy hurt. She woke Kirt up this morning and told him the cat threw up in her room. Kirt said there was evidence that it wasn't the cat, but Camryn swears it wasn't her. Weird. So, she's on watch.

We had a weird incident like this when DD9 had a stomach bug back in September. She was sleeping and began throwing up. The only reason she fully woke was that we were still awake and heard her and came in.

Does anyone have a good recipe for a breakfast dish? Like a baked french toast or egg thing you bake?

My kids enjoyed the quiche I made a few days back. It's really easy.
1 frozen pie shell
4-6 eggs (depending on depth of pie shell)
1/2 - 1 cup of milk (depending on depth of pie shell and # of eggs)
about 1 cup of cheddar cheese
precooked meat and/or veggies, if desired

Mix eggs, milk, cheese, and meat/veggies. Pour into pie shell. Put on cookie sheet to reduce mess. Bake at 350 until fork comes out dry, approx. 45 min. to 1 hr. (longer for deep dish).

I'm home sick. I was up all night long with a fever, chills, aches, etc.

I can't even get comfy enough to sleep. Blah.

Feel better! I broke down and made a few online purchases on Cyber Monday as I did not make it to any of the electronics stores last Friday. And, they were items with free shipping and $0 (or close) after rebates.

That sucks! You need to get on the phone with them. I'm sure they want the panel to have an international feel; they need to take that into account in reimbursing your expenses.
