Happy Thanxgiving to All!!

I have been up since 5:30 and to KMart for the sale with DGDs. Then hit CVSthen cooked a big breakfast. Turkey is cooked ,pie is made, taters peeled I'm relaxing for a while as we aren't eating till 6 pm !!DD is sleeping asshe is doing the Midnight thing at the Mall and then we are meeting at WalMart !!Chat later !! Enjoy your Turkey Day!!

My computer does not turn off well even when I hit turn off computer it CAN STAY ON THE WHOLE NIGHT and sometimes the fan does not work ! Enjoy a nice meal with your family! Have a good Thanksgiving everyone .

Happy Thanksgiving!!!​

You guys will think this is a funny story! So, we got all ready to go, actually made it to the car by the AIS time: 11 am. Drove across town to the theatre and saw Bolt. Loved it! It's so cute. The hamster cracked me up!

Left the theatre, both Gmas in tow, everyone chatting happily about the movie. Drove BACK across town to the Diner. Which was CLOSED. Locked up TIGHT. Not a soul in sight.

OK. Now, I KNOW for a fact that they were supposed to be open. I even swung through the parking lot and read the HUGE sign on their door yesterday (again) to be SURE of the times they were open (9am to 3pm). They had the sign down, and there wasn't even ONE car there. Although it was only 1:30 pm!!!

The only other thing open in our ENTIRE town was McDonald's. Oh, and the corner gourmet mkt/liquor store. So, we ended up there buying soup and sandwiches from their deli case. Can you believe that!!!????

This could only happen to me!

Anyway, we're fed. And we'll have pie soon. I hope you guys all enjoyed your turkey dinners. This is what I get for NOT cooking!

I found out today that my childhood house, that we built, is being knocked down It was a lovely house set in 2 acres of garden and they're knocking it down to build lots of little houses! (My Mum sold it about 14 years ago when Mum and Dad divorced but it's still MY house IYKWIM!) It's such a shame

Technically No.. But a LOT of people take off... and some places like factories ARE CLOSED... and the MALLS ARE WIDE OPEN... Except.. ya can't move a Bloody inch

The roof is already off, we all helped build it I can remember jumping off of the scaffolding into a pile of sand, (wouldn't let my girls do that far too dangerous ) we also had a stone built into the house that said our names like they do on old houses. Dad has already been round and they said they'll save it for him, goodness knows where he'll put it I suppose even though it's been out of the family awhile it was the last place where we were all a family together. Oh and I have to pass it every time I go and see my Mum so can't avoid it, it was bad enough when they filled in the swimming pool
