We made it through the appointment. The dentist pulled me aside before to talk to me. I felt like I was in trouble. They only did one tooth of the two, because he was getting antsy. But he did a good job and didn't need the shot. I was proud. Now we go back in two weels and I know he can do it.

I'm off to play more games. Be good.

Hopefully now that one's done, the other won't be so bad.

I can't remember if I mentioned that he's supposed to go to Afghanistan for 18 months in March 2010. Of course a lot can happen before then but it's still an unpleasant thought. Although I knew he was in the military from the beginning, so there's nothing I can say. Not that I would anyway.

OH NO! Poor you! (Well, and Mitch.... ) Well, hope he doesn't mind care packages from me too. I am always saying that I should bake more....LOL!

Hi guys!

I decided to help SD take care of the leaves. Bob wanted him to rake the whole backyard (which is HUGE)! I felt so bad for him, I borrowed an extra rake from Jill next door and got the big gas powered blower out. Well, that may have been a HUGE mistake!
I went inside after about 2 hours of that and there was a tear (liquid not rip) at the outer corner of my bad eye and it was RED.
I immediately called Dr. Seigle and he said not to worry! He said that's normal, the stitches were probably irritated. As long as it's not continuing (it's not) and there's no change in vision. Everything seems ok....

Unfortunately, now all night I will be PARANOID that I hurt myself!

Anyway, the yard is raked! Poor SD couldn't have done it all if he had a WEEK and he didn't. We are supposed to get more snow and they need to be off the lawn before that!

I have a dentist appt. at 11 today so I may not be around much. ICarly is BIG around here. Not sure why, as it's about two girls really....Maybe they think the girls are cute?

Ok, new low today. It's 27 degrees out right now. And they've got the snow machines CRANKING across the street at the ski resort. (Which is pretty funny because sometimes, it blows over here and we get snow and the rest of the town doesn't....) Gus is OVER THE MOON. He can't wait to get back to his snowboarding! He's so cute!

Mitch has to wear his Army uniform to work to do the posting of the colors for the assisted living facilities Veteran's Day ceremony. There are about 30 residents who will be recognized for their military service.

that's really nice they're doing something special for veterans day!

Well although the sun is shining the course is still shut so the golf was cancelled, but I came home from the AGM with a gift voucher so I can get 2 tees for my trip and a cup It was for the best aggregate stableford scores over the year

hi kate. i don't know how your mom does hospice. it must be very hard. working er is hard enough but we don't have a really bad case every time i work. i can't imagine hospice. you really do have to distance yourself or you would never cope. i think this is why a lot of er, icu nurses, doctors have such a twisted sense of humor. it's our way of coping with all the horrible things we see.

Today we don't have much. Aiden's got his appt. for two fillings. I'm so stressed about it! I don't know if you all remember him flipping out last time and them sending me out. Then finally sending him to be pout to sleep to do the work. I refused to have him put to sleep, so we went somewhere else. Now that filling has come out (probably from gnawing on legos!) and he has a new one. I'm really, really nervous this won't go well. We've talked enough, but I don't want to freak him out.

B's mouth hurts this morning, but I think it'll be under control now that she's taken an advil this am. Mouth problems... [/COLOR]

Not feeling any better really, I am not taking anymore cold and sinus meds because they are screwing with my sleep. so juts advil for the fever thats off an on.

I have jury duty Friday and have no idea what to do if i'm sick because I can't postpone again...what a hassle!

and my landlord is trying to get us all to pay $100 for new keys to the building amd key money is ilegal so we are trying to track down the official papers that say that so we don't have to pay. We are also trying to get a workign fridge too- i need lots of luck on this one these people are crazy!

So where's my update??? A night of drunken spanish and french? New members who are guys?? Someone fill in the lost sick one!

I had my tennis team drills this morning, then went to the grocery. D took the boys out to breakfast, then by the time I got home, he was rolling out again to get Woody a new bike tire and a new Razor scooter wheel. So we've not spent any of our anniversary day together, but for several of the years, he's been gone completely, so I guess it's fine.

The boys have their tennis lesson at 3:30, then D is making chili for dinner. Yum!

It started off pretty cold this morning and is now back to about 45. But it's cloudy and windy, so it's a little raw feeling. Thankfully, though, no snow anywhere in the forecast.

Anyway, I should start thinking about getting ready for tennis. D & Woody are not back, so we will probably end up meeting them at the gym. The boys usually have to change there because of having school, so he's used to not being "tennis dressed" but I need to get the stuff together.

i was supposed to go to cpr class today, but woke up this am nauseated, then started vomiting right before i took the kids to the bus stop!!

i stopped vomiting around 12pm, so i'm okay now. still kinda tired and yucky feeling, but as long as i'm not trowing up , it's okay!! i hate to vomit!!! my house is a mess,but i really don't care at this point!

So I did absolutely NOTHING today. Watched a movie, "An Unfinished Life" with Robert Redford, Morgan Freeman, JLo and Josh Lucas (the hot guy from Sweet Home Alabama) . It was a decent movie.

I couldn't even go shopping because when I checked my bank account I saw that I had $50 less than what I was supposed to have.

Why?

Because I went out with my friends on Friday and wanted to get a drink, but I forgot cash so I gave the bartender my credit card and he asked if I wanted to open a Tab. I was driving so I was just going to have the 1 drink and said "No". He then told me that in order to use my credit card I had to spend $10 So I said, fine open a tab. After my second drink I asked if it was at $10 and if I could close it out. My total with tip came out to $10, but when I see my bank account today I see they charged me $50!!!

So now I get to call and argue to see if they can reverse that charge and charge me the correct amount. Thank goodness I keep all my receipts.

I didn't do much today, just never got online either. I worked out this afternoon, but that's about it. Didn't get to any of the cleaning I wanted to get done. Maybe I can work on that tonight while DH is at class.

But I'm off to bathe the children and get them to bed. DD4 still has the croupy cough thing going on, but it doesn't seem to be getting worse. I'm hoping she can go to school tomorrow. My Bible study group is having a pitch-in brunch and I've already made my hash brown casserole. If she stays home then I can't go and I guess the casserole will go into the freezer.

Just got done watching the Wife Swap from the other night. It was funny! A Rastifarian couple and a couple from TX. I don't like dreadlocks. They look dirty. However, I do like the idea of raising your kids to treat others kindly and that you should measure your life's success by your happiness. More people should do that!
I don't think I'd be a good Rastafarian. Very few Republican Rastafarians.......LOL.

The last time I had a house for sale Joshua had just turned 1.. so I made sure the notes said... baby in house call first...

One time they did not call... I'm in the shower...
After that IF I wanted to make sure no body walked in my house when I did not want them too.. ( SHOWER, House untidy... )I LOCKED THE SCREEN DOORS

Been a VERY LONG DAY... I woke up at 2:30 am.. fell back to sleep at 5:00 only to have to get up at 6:00
Just got home from Band practice. Missed Supper.. nearly no breakfast.. and a bowl of soup and a Yogurt to eat. And I think I forgot to drink much of anything today.. My mouth feels like it has cotton in it. I may have only drank a quart of liquid.. just forgot about it till now.

I have to go back and give some more blood tomorrow for more tests... pick Sara up from School, take her BACK to the clinic to have her ears checked.. and run her back to school. I guess "Wal-Mart is out of the question.

I'm off to continue my last minute trip prep. I feel very out of it. I am Worried that I will forget things and not remember where to go and what to do in WDW. Anyone else get these fears before a trip?

hi jen. yeah, i always worry about packing. but, we don't really plan our trips. we tried it before and it didn't work well with the kids. they do better if the plans are very loose!

just think, you'll be in the world soon!!!
