Urgh it's a 2nd glass of wine night for me.

KC isn't home yet and still has to go do the laundry. That of course means that when he comes home really late I have to fold all the carp and put it away (he has NO foliding abilities). Another Urgh for me. That and I finished the bottle of wine (not today mind u).

just checking in to say hello!!! i worked all weekend, so didn't get a chance to get online. i'm tired now, so going to bed soon. i'll be back tomorrow.

Looks like I checked in a little late this evening. I did end up at the doctor's office with all three children. There were only two other people in the waiting room to experience the rather vocal argument between my younger two over who got which chair.

Anyway, the day is done. I spent some time going through some old photo albums and scanned a few pictures. I even found a few pictures from a family trip to WDW in the summer of 1976. Characters caught in photos included Robin Hood, Br'er Fox, Penguin (from Mary Poppins) and Cinderella and her prince (snapped through a window at Cinderella's Royal Table).

Satellite radio rocks! We've had it for almost 10 years and never listen to regular radio.

Later on they usually add another 3 Christmas channels but they have not been assigned a channel number in the XM/Sirius merger shakeup.

The holiday channels are Holly Nov 12-Dec31, Holiday Pops Nov 27-Dec 25, Hanaukkah Dec21-29, I listened to some of this last year because Reid goes to the JCC, so he'll probably know a lot of the songs this year, and Bing Crosby Dec 15-25. I have the Sirius channel numbers, but not XM.

These are fabulous!


BEST IN THE WEST BBQ BEAN BAKE 1 lb. ground beef
6 strips bacon
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. BBQ sauce
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. prepared mustard
4 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. pepper
3 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
2 (16 oz.) cans red kidney beans
1 (16 oz.) can butter beans
Brown ground beef, bacon, and onion. Drain excess fat. Combine and add all together ingredients except beans; stir well. Add beans and combine thoroughly. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees uncovered. Serves 20.
