I just got caught up on the events of the evenng... about had a coronary when I saw you had posted SOOOOO EARLY

I was about to offer an example but I think you found it. I also personally know a lady that home schools her 8( yes I said 8) children.
She really pushes her Older kids.... and they HELP HER teach the younger ones which also reinforces the things they learned when they were younger and actually helps them stay focused on their current work.

When her kids test using the Va SOL state testing... they always get at and above.

How would B feel ?? does she WANT to attend Public school ?? have you talked to her ??

Some of the things you struggle with I also struggle with. And honestly.. Dawn... It does not matter... I'll PM you the rest.

This fall for me it's been my health... interferring with my OCD house cleaning
Making me become a Grinch for Christmas.

I know in January I'm going to have to go see my Orthopedic dude.. .and I fear the words... your OTHER SHOULDER needs surgery.
Further pushing me OCD.

SO, now the eye pressure is too LOW. I can tell because my vision is all wonky again. I'm hoping for a Christmas Miracle. Eyes that work!!!

Today is a day at home! Thank Goodness! I'm exhausted, blurry eyed and I have to clean my house. Later, I'll grab some groceries. That's all though. Whew! I really need to finish my cards, get the kids photo and get mailing!

Morning! I'm at home, NOT working. Despite my office CALLING ME ABOUT WORK STUFF AT 8:30 AM!!! I didn't answer the phone and just sent a quick email to them saying I'll be happy to discuss things with them Mon... when I'm back on the clock.

Dawn- I can't help on specifics, but wanted to say that we ALL worry about our kids in the education dept. - you are not alone!

At work, so not much time. Just wanted to let eveyone know I just got a text from CE. They apparently got hit pretty hard with the storm last night. They are all okay, but there is no power, no cable and therefore no internet. She did not want us all worrying about her so I I told her I would post here so no one was concerned when we didn't here from her!

V - I thought for sure you were going to take off a day early

D did ask if I would be OK with missing the following Monday & Tuesday (1/12 & 1/13), rather than just Monday, if we still left after school on Friday the 9th.

Silly question but why can't MIL have the party in the school vacation time? You're right though that 2 days missed at that young age is fine but!!!!

Went to see Dr. Seigle. (by myself, Bob was working from home) and he said there was a cyst that had formed over the top of the surgical site which was blocking the fluid from draining (making the surgery useless) and that he'd have to use the NEEDLE again! OMG. I am SO darn sick of that needle!!!

Oh Mel that sounds yucky, hope it worked this time

Taught night school tonight as a favor to another teacher. He was called from work this afternoon after his wife was taken by airvac to another hospital when she had a seizure in her classroom and never regained consciousness. I'm hoping they're okay.

I slept well last night and then after taking Ellie to school I thought oh I'll just lie down a while, 3 hours later I was woken up by the doorbell. OMG I obviously need all this sleep

He was getting really bad pains at the base of his spine, he went to the Dr on Monday and they reckon he has an ingrown hair which has formed an abcess on his spine he's on antibiotics which thankfully are working otherwise it could be an op which would put him off work awhile and no work means no money

Hey ya'll. I just saw that KB Toys is closing all stores.

Also, wanted to let you know to be extra careful when in WDW. I saw a thread where someone's car was stolen from the WL parking lot last Friday. I mentioned this to DH and he said he overheard a Sheriff taking a report about videos stolen from a car last Thursday (12/4). When we arrived to check in 12/3, there was a Sheriff there as well.

The poster did not say if the car was parked in valet or reg parking.
