I haven't officially moved to days. 5 more weeks. Right now I'm doing nights during the week and have the weekends off. It's interesting...

In case you missed FB (janet ) Waldo made it through his surgery with flying colors. I'm so glad it's over and he can come home today (hopefully!) and get some rest.

Nothing new here. I was supposed to go to a concert today (by today I mean Wednesday) with my cousin, but she sort of bailed on me. These are the times where I miss the boyfriend because I could've just dragged him. Oh well....

I did my own weigh in Monday and after a whole week of hitting the gym and working my booty off I lost a grand total of 0 that's Zero pounds! I felt like this and just wanted to go out and eat some cake. But I put on my girl panties (no pun intended) and went to the gym instead. I hate fat.

It was announced on the news today that all the schools in our little town were closed by the health department until MAY 11th!

Uh, we may drive each other nuts, but we'll be hanging around the house until we feel like it's safer to visit public places. They are asking people to avoid public gatherings.
I haven't been able to get ahold of our dance school to find out what's going on there. It's crazy!

We probably have had no contact with anyone who has the infection, but we are playing it safe by avoiding dance and group gatherings.

What really stinks is that we may be moving in the next week and a half and the kids can't see their friends to say bye.

I'm tired. I'll be back in the morning with house updates.

Today is the last meeting of #1 son's Lego team before we head to Ohio next week. We got an email from the woman in charge up there who said they are monitoring the flu situation and taking all precautions, but they are leaving it up to the parents and coaches to determine if a child is ill. So I guess it's still a go. They've also installed Purel stations throughout the place which makes my son very happy...he'll be the one bathing in it.

Hi guys - just popping in, but I'll try to catch up later-ish.

Had Riding Lesson #2 last night... my thighs are NOT happy. I suspect I actually pulled some last week, because rather than feeling stronger this week, they were much weaker. I just could not squeeze hard enough to balance in a trot; my poor legs were actually shaking with effort! But I did a fine job walking and a better fitting saddle made the whole experience less painful. Leo and I "raced" a couple times - he won, natch.

Good morning, Fockers.

I promised to update an the house- yesterday afternoon things got interesting... The people buying my house want to close as soon as they can. So, once they get the appraisal done (we're thinking by Monday) it'll be up to their financing co and the title co to get it pulled together. I would guess they'll be ready by Monday May 11th.
Our house we're buying isn't ready right now because they have to replace the roof. Homeowners and the appraisal will not go well without it being done. The house is vacant, so the sellers are willing to let us lease the house until the roof is done and we can close.
So, this all makes me happy. The sooner we can move, the better. I'm ready to get the heck out of here!
Now, if I could just get a real date, I could schedule the movers. I have them coming by tomorrow to give me an estimate, so I'm hoping to be able to tell him then.

CE- I'm wondering what the schools will do about missing all these weeks here for the swine flu. I'm glad we don't have to worry about it. What the heck do parents who work do when something like this comes up? It's crazy!

It is soon, but I'm ready to go. There's nothing I can pack other than our clothes and personal items we use everyday. It was all cleaned up and packed when we put the house on the market. Baylie and I could probably pack the last of it in one afternoon.

Of couse, having nothing out is making this confinement thing almost unbearable! The kids are bored and fighting more than normal.

They were pretty funny about saying, "Oh, wouldn't it be great if you could rent a place?" Which is good as we've - as a surprise - rented a house on a lake island for the week in July when they come back for FIL's birthday.

I'm trying to get more exercise, so dh and I went to the tennis courts Sunday. Let me say - we are not tennis players, but figured we would hit the ball back and forth just to get some fun exercise. Well, 3 minutes on the court and I somehow pulled a muscle or something in my leg - behind my knee. I felt a pop. I guess that just shows that I'm getting old. It hurts like crazy to bend that leg.

I have plans to be there for FF3, whenever it is. I'm trying to fanagle an October trip as well, but I'm thinking that trip might just be an adults only or girls weekend only. Who knows at this point.

Don't give up, Z. I hate those weeks, but you're on the right track! I've started going to the gym and I'm sore as all heck, but I'm still going. I've also decided to not weight myself anymore.

I've become obsessed with a number when I should really be focusing on working out, making healthy choices, etc. I bought 2 pair of shorts... 1 pair 1 size too small and another pair 2 sizes too small. My goal is to be in the smaller pair in August and the smallest by October.

ROSIE says Judy’s job is OK. The marriage is in a big rut though. for Judy

Z is disappointed because she hasn’t made a dent in the scale after a lot of hard work. I know exactly how you feel. I get so frustrated when I think I have done well but the scale doesn’t reflect it. Don't give up.

CEL BEL needs a new robe thanks to the puppy. She got 100% on her stats midterm. She’s not sure on a couple of other tests.

T uses clothing to mark her weight loss progress instead of a scale. Scales are the enemy! Waldo was cleared this morning but has to take it easy until May 11.
