O.K. Jodi... where are you at... What's the News from the Vet
I already know it is not good

I'm here....

Well, the news was not good. Max has multiple nodules throughout all of the lobes of his liver. The thing about ultrasounds is that they show you that it doesn't look normal, but doesn't tell you what they are. So, we don't know if it's scar tissue or if it's cancer without a biopsy. And in order to biospy his liver, they would have to open him up surgically. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I don't think we would want to put him through that.

So, I've got an appointment for next Wednesday to talk about our options and make some decisions. Right now, he's not showing any signs of being in daily pain or anything like that, so we're okay with leaving him be. She mentioned some medications that could possibly help, especially if it's not cancer.

So sorry jodi !! I lost 2 dogs within 2 weeks ofeach other to cancer!!It was heartbreaking !!

Well I had a great supper a Ponderosa !!! Had lots of seafood so I am a happy camper !!! Judy gave me a gift card to buy clothes for my Disney trip from all of them!! I am feeling very special today !!! Cake is made by the girls ,but we are all to full for now !!
Weather i nice enough for Kyle to play outside and it's still light !! Things are going well !!

Well, D was passing by the airport on the way home from boat-looking (he actually did not buy anything today, but I have a feeling it's coming soon...) and so he figured he should just pick up Dr. Belle. They are picking up the pizza/sandwiches that I just called in. Then I think we're watching HSM2. Dr. Belle had seen HSM before me and highly recommended it, but then hasn't seen 2 or 3. I said we could probably remedy that whilst she is here.

I'll probably be mostly out of touch while she's here. Hope you all have a happy weekend!

Back from the pediatrician...... and it's strep! No fever or sore throat, just a runny nose and cough, but the doc said her tonsils are huge, so he did a strep test. I think we were both surprised to see it come back positive.

Anyway, I'm going scrapbooking tonight as soon as DH gets home. He had to drive to Dayton, Ohio today for a work meeting. The meeting is supposedly finished at 4pm, which means he should be home around 6-6:30 pm.

Still waiting to hear from the vet....

Have fun scrap booking. Sorry to hear about the strep, but at least it is diagnosed.

just driving by to say THANK YOU for all the good thoughts - I'm okay for now!!! It's possible that further changes could come, but highly unlikely, so I should be just fine.

I'm freaking exhausted! And feeling very weak... powerless to resist the urge to book a ressie...

I'm waiting for DH to come home so that I can go scrapbooking. He should be home soon.

Forgot to mention that our Wii came today! So, I'm sure DH will get that up and running while I'm gone tonight. The girls will have fun with it! We'll have to buy a few more pieces tomorrow (and maybe a few games too). Of course, I'll have to find myself a Wii Fit somewhere too.

Hey all. Another quick drive by for me. I hat not being able to keep up with you all Left work early for Jimmy's doctor appointment, stopped at Old McDonald's and Quizno's for dinner, came home ate, gave Jimmy a bath and watched the WDW show on the travel channel. Now he is watching Backyardigans.

We are going to the zoo tomorrow so we won't be around much then either.

I'm so glad you're better. I am able to move, but am using a lot of Advil. I can't figure out what happened to me.

I have been hopped up on thew advil for days LOL. It seems to really help. My actual muscle relaxer pills make me a zombie for 24 hours each so I try not to take 'em.

We went to Rite-Aid and the supermarket this evening. I was ok, I went slow. We spent like 100 bucks but what can you do. At least we are all stocked up on things. we went through all our bathroom stuff and bought whatever we needed back ups of.

Ok off to make my leftover orange maple chicken into some citrusy chicken soup for dinner.

Went scrapbooking last night but forgot to print off my photopass pics from our October trip, so I didn't even put one picture in my album. I basically just sat around and talked to friends. I think that's what I needed anyway.

So, no real plans for today, especially since DD5 is sick. DH is working on the ambulance tonight from 6pm until 6am tomorrow morning, so I'll be around all evening too. I'm seriously thinking about opening up the bottle of wine I have in the fridge... would that be bad?

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm going to try to do some laundry and cleaning as long as I'm stuck in the house.

So, the house is listed... and we have nothing to do. LOL We were thinking about going to see a house we're interesed in, but we can't leave the dog here in case someone wants to come see the house. He would bark like crazy and that probably wouldn't leave a good impression on the people looking at the house.

Of course, since we still have to sell the house we don't have to look at houses yet. What to do, what to do... I guess we should just wait until we get back from the trip to do anything. The realtor is thinking about having an opn house the day before we go to WDW. The girls and I wil be in Dallas, so the boys would just need to leave and take the puppy to his mom's. She's keeping him while we're gone.

So, while I feel like staying in my PJs, I guess I'd better get everyone up and dressed in case anyone wants to come see the house. I'm hoping for better weather today. The forecast says cloudy and cold, which is better than the rainy weather we've had for the past two days.
