Thanks Carrie. Like everybody else I have a Past.. and skeletons. My Dad really loved my Mom and me. Just could not show it, and was extremely jealous.. in spite of it all Mom loved Dad. He became a "Better Person" the last year of his life.. and got his Soul on track 7 months before he died. But yeah he was an alcoholic, verbal abuser, and threatened Mom and abused Mom my whole life. I should have gotten counseling because I am still haunted by my childhood in ways I just can not share . Most things I can .. just a couple I can not.


Up first and do not know why.. where is the snoze button on thatrooster.

Probably has something to do with the fact Sarabeth slept with me since Scott is gone... woke up in the night and she was laying on me like I was a fig fluffy pillow.

We got some real snow overnight. Real in the sense the roads are covered . Can't really see it yet... but I am guessing maybe 2-3 inches. enough to sled in.. a little which is where we will be today.

I'm going back to bed...maybe have some more chicken soup later "Mr Rooster"

Morning! This is a drive-by - gotta head into my big, fat, scary meeting in a few. My friend's flight was canceled, so she's at my house, trying to figure out when she might be able to go. (She flies through Philly to Erie.) That's a lotta snow happening north of FL! Stay warm Fockers!

I have no idea. I think she is going to make some phone calls to her counselors tomorrow. Her newest thing tonite is that she wants to homeschool Mackenzie. ***! Shes so lost and screwey and there is no one to advocate for her or the kids. ugggg!

Hi Fockers!

I got on here with my phone. What luck I have ... Broke my laptop, now our new desktop is in the Apple hospital!


I had a great scrapweekend... Page wise, not table mate wise (more on that when I can type on a real keyboard). I got 30 pages done, which is the most that I've ever done at a retreat! I am super excited! The only bad thing is that my legs swelled again, which is terribly painful.


I will try read on my phone, but it is really slow, slow. My phone hates the dis. Crazy huh?

I hear ya on that one! DR sneaks into my bed in the middle of the night and there have been many times I have woken up with him laying right in the middle of my back to even having his feet in my face. Drives me nuts but I wouldn't trade it.

How long is Scott going to be gone? Have fun today in the snow and glad you got a little more to make the snow day a good one.

Morning Fockers!

My dad watched DR for me while I took Linds to school this morning and he left some sports show on the TV. I'm too lazy to get up and turn it off so it'll stay on until DR gets up. But, one of the guys on there is talking about golfing with his daughter and how bad she was at it. It made me think of Jo and her golfing with Jess. I have a feeling Jess would be better than this poor girl the dad was talking about. LOL

Not much planned for me today. Linds is in school now. DR has preschool this afternoon. I got his monthly newsletter on Friday and they are pre-registering for next year and changing the format. I am so glad for that but I have a feeling the cost is going to go up. Right now I pay $100/month for 3 days a week for 2.5 hours. They are wanting to change it to 4 days for 3 hours. Either way it'll have to get paid since I'll be starting back to school and daycare/preschool will have to be a must.

A headache just hit me all of a sudden so I think I'm going to lay down on the couch and snuggle with DR. He just woke up and is a little gumpy still. Its absolutely FREEZING today so it'll be nice for that snuggle.

Oh no. Is there any way you can talk her out of that one. I'm not against homeschooling (heck we thought about it ourselves) but it sounds like she needs to concentrate on herself right now!

Don't you just love that the stores tell or show you how much you saved now. They want you to leave feeling like you actually did yourself a big favor coming to their establishment to buy overpriced stuff at regular prices. Cracks me up. Sierra let me know that I saved a whopping $153.64. In reality, I would have never paid that much to begin with.

Found a few good deals at Macy's buy 1 get 1 free deal. There is this new store in our mall called "Deb's". OMG! Retro 80's. I have never laughed so hard in all my life. I knew I should have hung onto my Madonna and Pat Benatar attire. I could have probably made a fortune on Ebay.

OMG...something has happened that I never thought I would see happen. They shut us down because of the snow Yes, I got a SNOW DAY

There wasn't much snow oin the ground when I got up at 6am, about 2 inches but it's blizzard conditions out there now . So, since I wasn't planning on being home today we have nothing planned. We are talking about going to the diner for lunch, but that is about it. Jimmy is watching

So, how old is Baby Girl again? That totally sounds like something my DD5 would do!

At least she's being kind to her brother. I know what you mean about the smell though. Mitch did that with bacon in the toaster oven.

My house still smells like smoke. When I use the microwave, it's worse. I put vinegar in a cup and let it boil in the microwave, hoping the steam would get rid of the odor. I also cleaned it with vinegar. I'm going to try baking soda next.

I have no idea. When she 1st sent a request, I deleted her because we had no friends in common and I thought it was somebody targeting members of Dsiney fan groups. Then I saw a few Fockers were added so I sent a FR.

I only friended Yensid because Slate did.
I may defriend Yensid and some others. But none of the Fockers.
I also requested to be friends with Gaylord Focker because I saw my brother is friends with him. Gaylord has not accepted yet.

Big controversy brewing in the office. Some money from a wallet turned into the Lost and Found has gone missing.

I have had many co-workers surprise me with their actions.

Here is a (kinda) funny missing wallet story:
Several years ago, dh and his bff were going golfing. They were on a busy 4 lane road when they saw money flying in the air. They decided to pull over and get whatever money they could. I can't remember how much they got, but I think it was just about $80 and there was more that they could not get - that flew away or was in traffic. They thought it was their lucky day, but then dh saw a wallet. He said he looked at bff and said, "Aww man! A wallet." They were disappointed because now they knew how to get in touch with the owner. The wallet had a driver's license in it. So bff calls his wife to look up wallet owner's phone number. They called the wallet owner and told him they were going golfing, when they were through, they could meet him and return the wallet. They told him how the money was flying in the air and that they couldn't get it all. The guy lived near where the money was found. When they met him later, his wife was with him. He stayed in the car and the wife got out to get the wallet. She told them thank you, but the guy never even looked at them. They thought that was rather rude and wished they had kept the money.

Lacrosse games were canceled yesterday, so now my crazy busy weekend has to be rescheduled

My dad is coming for a visit on Wednesday, so I've got to clean up the playroom/guest room so he has a place to sleep. Other than that and some laundry, not much going on here. We didn't get any snow, but the upstate around Clemson got 8 inches. I hope everyone stays warm and safe.
