Excellent question - I don't yet know! Gramma's coming along and she's in a mood. Drink heavily sounds like a good plan.:rotfl2:

:rotfl:

What a pain, hope it's easily fixed!

So far, not so much.

My Mum and Dad are getting her a camera, but that won't arrive till after she's at school tomorrow so the only pressies she has to open are just bits and bobs such as flip flops, big scarf thing that's all the fashion and a necklace Jess made her in tech out of metal!

Aw, fun! Give her a birthday hug from me.

CE - sniff, sniff.... I got all excited last night when you accidently IM'd me for video chat. Then I realized I don't have video chat. :lmao:

It wasn't an accident. I would have loved to have talked to you if my webcam was working. :goodvibes I figured, why not try T? She's on... ;)

So I've been straightening up the spare bedrooms. My computer desk is the neatest it's looked in a year. I also just sent her a text to let her know if the girls get antsy, I can come and get them whenever.

Catch ya'll later!
:hippie:

Hope her mom's doing OK. Have fun, even though it's not the best occasion.

Kat- thought I quoted you.

I've now also tried some forum's suggestion of installing Acer drivers, no luck. I've tried a system restore to when it was last working, and my system restore gets errors, too, and won't revert (another forum suggestion was to look at it when it was working and try to go from there.) It's craptastic. I think I'll make Best Buy worry about it at this point. But thanks! :thumbsup2

My problem with the drivers is that it's not even recognizing that it's a camera. And it's built in, so even though it's under "USB controlled devices" I can't really unplug it and replug it, if you KWIM. ;)

Baseball was pretty good, but came home and the *@&$ dog had gotten up on the kitchen counters. Not only did he get into some Doritos, he knocked two plants into the sink. They were seedlings that the kids grew at school for me for Mother's Day. :sad2: Buzz's didn't get upside down, so I think it will be OK, but Woody's came completely out of the pot. Potting soil all over the sink, and I hope the little plant survives.

I'm really sick of this. :headache:

So, we've decided we are going to Texas. We'll head out Friday night and take four days to get out there. The drive home has to be done in 2, but all in all it should be fun.

:yay: I bet it will be a fun trip! Have fun.

Forgot to update after all that!

Leo's doing better today. No fever and less sniffling; just the lingering cough to deal with. I'm not feeling great, but not awful either; I'll take it!

It is, however, raining, raining, raining. I'm guessing our riding lesson tonight will be a washout. I just hope our WDW weekend isn't. It wouldn't matter except that we were planning to spend lots of time at the pool. Guess I'd better start making an alternate, Rain Plan. Bleh.

Glad Leo is feeling better and hope you have good weather for this coming weekend.

Not much going on here. Work then off to Sears to look for a new dryer.

So did you find one?

You too Lori!

Thanks Z!

Won our tball game last night. Omicron got the game ball and oh, you should have seen the look on his face when the coach handed it to him :cloud9:. Sports do not come naturally for him so this was a big deal.
:faint: Do you ever slow down? LOL WTG O for the game ball! :cheer2:

Played golf today and got so fed up, I scored OK but feel as though I played rubbish, I'm putting too much pressure on myself to cut my handicap so not enjoying it :sad2:

 Hope it gets better for ya and remember...have fun!!!!

I swear I feel like a parrot...
Braaack! No change. Braaaaack! No closing today. Braaaaack! No telling when it will happen. Braaaaaaaaaaaaack! Dawn's pissed.

:hug::hug::hug:

Glad Linds is feeling better!

Thanks Kat. :goodvibes Glad to hear KC is off on Monday and that you guys get to do something fun. :)

Excellent question - I don't yet know! Gramma's coming along and she's in a mood. Drink heavily sounds like a good plan.:rotfl2:

I didn't think Gramma was coming this time around but of course I could be thinking of your August trip and her not coming then.

Nothing really to report here, Ellie made her Birthday cake earlier, she insisted on doing it all herself, I did help her crack the eggs though, and she did a good job, it smells great! I wrapped all her pressies earlier, she doesn't have much as she's already had her main pressie which is a phone and she wants her ears pierced but we'll get those done near to the end of school as you can't wear them at school. My Mum and Dad are getting her a camera, but that won't arrive till after she's at school tomorrow so the only pressies she has to open are just bits and bobs such as flip flops, big scarf thing that's all the fashion and a necklace Jess made her in tech out of metal!

Awww...sounds like she'll have a good birthday!

Hi peeps! :wave2:

Just a quickie... I promised Mo I would post for her!

Mo says....

"HI EVERYONE!!!"
:dance3::dance3::dance3:

Hi T and Mo!!! Hope you two are having fun!

Hi everyone! I hope all is well. Hugs to those who need them.

Rockie's mom had a delay on her surgery. She didn't go in until 5pm. So I told Rockie that she and the girls could stay at my place tonight. It will probably be late by the time her mom is out of recovery. There's no sense in her driving back to Ohio tonight.

So I've been straightening up the spare bedrooms. My computer desk is the neatest it's looked in a year. I also just sent her a text to let her know if the girls get antsy, I can come and get them whenever.

Catch ya'll later!
:hippie:

Hope y'all have fun and that her mom is doing OK.

Oh man! :headache: The counters! I hate it when my dog gets into the trash so I couldn't imagine getting on the counters. Of course she's a black lab, and lazy to boot, so no counter exploration for her.

My day was pretty good. Cleaned up a bit and DR and I spent it at home enjoying the sunshine and nice weather. Linds had her field trip to the zoo and she had fun. She passed out on the couch at about 5 PM and slept the rest of the afternoon and then went to bed when I told her it was time to go. I'm sure after a long day out in the sun and all the walking she did she is probably exhusted, especially being sick. Tomorrow is her last day and hopefully she will be feeling better and isn't so drained.

Night everyone!

Want some enabling?! No joke, this sucker ranks among the Top 5 Toys I've Bought Myself! And I do see it as a toy; that is also fucntions as a phone is just icing. ;)

I'll be an enabler too! I couldnt agree more! Ive had my iphone for almost a year and i still absolutely love it! Marc even loved mine so much he had to get his own. Everytime he would try and steal mine to play with id tell him he had to wait to get his own toy.:rotfl: I think it changed my life.:worship: If your like me and dont like to carry lots of different things its great. I never remembered my ipod, and i carried a planner around. Now i only need my phone!:thumbsup2

I swear I feel like a parrot...
Braaack! No change. Braaaaack! No closing today. Braaaaack! No telling when it will happen. Braaaaaaaaaaaaack! Dawn's pissed.

:lmao: but really... I hope this all gets straightened out fast!

 I wrote out my post, but it timed out on me and now it's lost!!

So I'm just gonna go from memory.

V: I hope the weather clears up for your trip pixiedust::

Dawn: :hug: on the house thing

CE: :hug:Sorry about the dog knocking over the plants. Did you get the web cam to work?

Janet: Next week I start working mornings. Any luck on the washer/dryer?

Debra: I've always wanted to go camping, but I don't like all the bugs :scared: I hope you have a great time!

Kat: Yes I've researched the pet insurance, but the more pets you have on it the more the price goes up even with their "discount". It's worth it if you have only 1 pet though. Most cover annual exams/vaccinations and stuff and aren't too expensive (about $40 a month I think), but once you start tacking the pets on that price increases. :sad2:

T: I dunno where Mel is, on FB she said one of the kiddos was sick. Can't wait for the DL/DCA pics tomorrow popcorn::

Jo: When you get paid to play golf like David does, then you worry about the handicap. ;)

Hi Lori, Sam, Hedy, Kristel and anyone else I missed!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

So took Orion (my cat) to the vet and $255 later I still don't know what's wrong. They gave him his vaccines and did some tests and drew blood to check out some stuff. I looked up his condition last night and I'm thinking he might have a parasite because of the grass he eats and the doctor thinks that too. She'll let me know tomorrow when she gets the results of the tests and I have to take him in so she can get a urine sample. :headache:

Whatcha gonna do? He's my furbaby :lovestruc and I have to take care of him and I want him around as long as possible.

Other than that, not much excitement. Work and raining.

I think I'm gonna make a ticker..... :D

Morning Fockers!

Today is Lindsey's last day of Kindy. :sad2: Where the heck has the time gone??? I will have an official 1st grader by the end of the day.

She feels so much better today and has her voice back. She has a horrible cough though and her nose is stuffy but she's happy to have her voice. I guess her catching up on that sleep really did her some good.

They'll be walking to the local bakery this morning and then having a picnic lunch this afternoon. She is so excited!

DR and I really have no plans. It'll be in the 80's today so I'm sure he and I will be outside enjoying it. :cool2:

Hope y'all have a Happy Hump Day!

This is your daily update... (that was my flight attendant voice, you like?)

So, we set to close on the sale of our house today at 3pm. But get this... at 4:15 yesterday the title company still didn't have the closing documents! I'm hoping it'll work out, though because we've never gotten to the point where they made appointments for closing yet. I know my buyers are doing a walk through at noon and are set to close at 4pm. They won't get the keys today, though, since they are closing so late.

My Austin title company is just waiting to hear the docs are at the SA title company so we can schedule closing there for the morning tomorrow. If all goes well, the movers will meet us at the house at noon tomorrow. :thumbsup2

The real bummer is that we won't have a phone or internet until next Thursday! A whole week with no contact?! Yikes! :guilty:

So, everyone think good thoughts and I'll check in later with you all.

/
Morning all! My quotes went POOF! so please know I'm thinking of everyone. :grouphug:

Leo sounds a whole lot worse thanks to the cough, but feels a whole lot better. (Lori, I think he and Linds have the same thing!)

Gramma... is being a royal PITA this week. If this continues, she'll find herself banished to the Poly lobby all weekend. ;)

It's still raining. And I've been carb-free for 4 days, preparing for WDW. All I can think of right now is a hot, fresh Main St. Bakery cinnamon roll. Must... be... strong...

And I continued to try finding you a breakfast place for about an hour after I left the restaurant!

:lmao:

New. I don't have the right kind of luck to even consider refurbished, lol! BTW, when they signe dme up, they noticed that I work in government... and that nets me a disocunt on the monthly plan! So be sure to check that out.

Oooh, thanks for the discount tip!:goodvibes

Excellent question - I don't yet know! Gramma's coming along and she's in a mood. Drink heavily sounds like a good plan.

Good luck!

GIve her a birthday hug from the Philly crew:grouphug:

We'll be hanging out tomorrow, we plan to do some people watching and picture taking. Heh heh heh. We saw some doosies on Sunday... 80 degree weather and these girls are wearing furry boots and Daisy dukes.

Oh I can't wait to see the pictures of thispopcorn::

I'm really sick of this.

I'm sorry:hug: I take it you don't crate him when your not there? We keep Tinkerbell in her "room" (the laundry room) when we aren't home.

Tomorrow is her last day and hopefully she will be feeling better and isn't so drained.

No graduation ceremony? JImmy's school doesn't do one...they have "move up day". He isn't done until the 12th of June. We will have to get our 1st graders together:thumbsup2

Whatcha gonna do? He's my furbaby and I have to take care of him and I want him around as long as possible.

Vet bills are crazy!

So, everyone think good thoughts and I'll check in later with you all.

Good thoughts! :goodvibes:hug:

hi everyone :hippie:

Leo sounds a whole lot worse thanks to the cough, but feels a whole lot better. (Lori, I think he and Linds have the same thing!)

Glad he feels ok:thumbsup2

Gramma... is being a royal PITA this week. If this continues, she'll find herself banished to the Poly lobby all weekend. ;)

Just banish her to the All Stars!;) It's sort of like Bangledesh compared to the Poly:lmao:

=====================================================

Dryer Update:

Went to Sears (thanks for the advice everyone!) Got a washer and dryer, delivery, set-up, and haul away the old stuff for less than $1000 AND 0% interest for 12 months. Can we get a :yay::yay::yay: They could have delivered it Thursday, but I paid an extra $10 for them to deliver it on Saturday. I have never been so excited to do laundry:lmao:

Other than that not much going on. I think I forgot to tell you all we had a primary election yesterday for some local offices (District Attorney, City Controller, etc). Before I took Jimmy to school we went to vote. He got to school and he was all excited he told his teacher how he "voted" and what we voted for, etc.

Last night was Tball pictures and Jim said he did fabulously. When I get them back I will post it. Get this though...the coach didn't show up:confused3

Off to try and teach my boss how my job is done so that when I am transferred he know what he is doing:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hi Mo and T :wave2:

Rockie's mom had a delay on her surgery. She didn't go in until 5pm. So I told Rockie that she and the girls could stay at my place tonight. It will probably be late by the time her mom is out of recovery. There's no sense in her driving back to Ohio tonight.

Thats so sweet Jess made her a necklace!
It was, it was her tech project and she made it out of pewter :thumbsup2

I'm really sick of this. :headache:
Does he do it often?

Hope it gets better for ya and remember...have fun!!!!.
I know :rotfl2:

She passed out on the couch at about 5 PM and slept the rest of the afternoon and then went to bed when I told her it was time to go.
Wow she was tired!

Jo: When you get paid to play golf like David does, then you worry about the handicap. ;)
True :rotfl2: and hope your kitty is OK!

Just banish her to the All Stars!;) It's sort of like Bangledesh compared to the Poly:lmao:
OMG :rotfl2: and it sounds as though you got a good deal!

Thanks for all of Ellie's Birthday wishes, she loved all her pressies plus she also got a camera from my Mum and Dad and some money from my sister and makeup from my step-sister. She has requested steak for dinner so I went and bought it earlier :thumbsup2

I'm so angry right now I can barely stop crying. Our agent just called and said that the buyers moved the closing from this afternoon until tomorrow afternoon.

I'm so mad about how this has taken a toll on my family. LAST week they had us get moved out so we could give over the house on Friday. All my stuff is in storage and I'm paying for that because they are idiots who won't do what they are supposed to.

All the girls' costumes are in the moving truck and can't be gotten to, so after a year of hard work, my girls don't get to be in their class pictures.:mad::mad: B's especially upset since she won't be in the team pictures. Not to mention tomorrow is B's 12th bday and she will be stuck at her grandma's AGAIN.

I'm SO MAD!!!!!!!!!!

Oh man! :headache: The counters! I hate it when my dog gets into the trash so I couldn't imagine getting on the counters. Of course she's a black lab, and lazy to boot, so no counter exploration for her.

Oh, he does the trash, too, if I leave it open.

Tomorrow is her last day and hopefully she will be feeling better and isn't so drained.

Night everyone!

I'm glad you had a good day. to having a first grader.

CE: :hug:Sorry about the dog knocking over the plants. Did you get the web cam to work?

Thanks, and no. :headache:

Other than that, not much excitement. Work and raining.

I think I'm gonna make a ticker..... :D

Wow, close cruise! Have a good day, Z!

This is your daily update... (that was my flight attendant voice, you like?)

:lmao:

hi everyone :hippie:

Hiya, S'late! :goodvibes

It's still raining. And I've been carb-free for 4 days, preparing for WDW. All I can think of right now is a hot, fresh Main St. Bakery cinnamon roll. Must... be... strong...

Good luck! :rotfl:

I'm sorry:hug: I take it you don't crate him when your not there? We keep Tinkerbell in her "room" (the laundry room) when we aren't home.

No. We did when we lived in apartments, because he has always been a little destructive. He's eaten (or, more truthfully, chewed up) as a random sample: wicker boxes, Diet Pepsi cans, aluminum blinds, clothing, trash, a feather pillow...

Anyway, all that was generally when I was working and he was in apartments. When we got the house, we quit kenneling because he was so much better. It's just been in the last year or so that he's regressed - I don't know if it's because I'm out of the house more again or what. We don't have a good room to close him in - when we closed him in the guest room a few times during playgroups or whatnot, he scratched the heck out of the wooden doors. :headache:

When we redid the kitchen, we have now a "drawer" that holds the trash and recycling bins. I have to rubberband that shut every time we leave the house, along with the corner lazy susan cabinet because he's gotten in there and eaten food before. :sad2: I'm just really tired of having to think like we'll be invaded every time I leave the house.

Went to Sears (thanks for the advice everyone!) Got a washer and dryer, delivery, set-up, and haul away the old stuff for less than $1000 AND 0% interest for 12 months.

WOOHOO!

Off to try and teach my boss how my job is done so that when I am transferred he know what he is doing

;)

Does he do it often?

Yes. If I'm foolish enough to forget to close everything up, it's a done deal.

Thanks for all of Ellie's Birthday wishes, she loved all her pressies plus she also got a camera from my Mum and Dad and some money from my sister and makeup from my step-sister. She has requested steak for dinner so I went and bought it earlier :thumbsup2

Nice!

I'm so angry right now I can barely stop crying. Our agent just called and said that the buyers moved the closing from this afternoon until tomorrow afternoon.

Oh, Dawn...

************************************************
Well, I'm having the worst migraine I've probably had in years. :sad2: Nausea, horrible pain, etc.

I do NOT know why this is happening more often. I went over 6 months without one, now I've had 3 in about a month. D, without knowing I was hurting, got up with the kids anyway. He went to work, and I got up to take meds and get my heating beanbag thingy. I couldn't eat. I finally fell back asleep and woke up crying - having a dream where I was yelling, "It hurts so badly I can't even think!"

I took a shower, ate something (which luckily has gone well enough) and took a shower. I'm a little better, but it's back there, just lurking away. I did manage to start some laundry and got the dishwasher stuff put away.

I do NOT feel good. I am not up to going to get the computer worked on. I will not be exercising when the boys have tennis, I don't think. :sad2:

So...

I think I'm going to get off the computer again - it's not helping.

Hope you all are having a better day! :grouphug: all around.

It's a him, his wife told him to leave a few years ago and he never found out why
Oh, sorry :guilty:
And Happy Birthday to Elle!

Huh. Well, I'm sorry, either way.
Sounds like a crazy day, good for O, and have fun camping! I would have not the slightest clue of what to take. ;)
I'm sorry about your computer/webcam :headache:. And I do hope your headache goes away

OK if you want to have a life don't get the SIMS 3 LOL. I have played for 3 hours just on a random character, its so involved now! Crazy!
:rotfl2:

:faint: Do you ever slow down? LOL WTG O for the game ball! :cheer2:
Nope and Thanks

Tomorrow is her last day and hopefully she will be feeling better and isn't so drained.
Hope she is feeling better

I'll be an enabler too! I couldnt agree more! Ive had my iphone for almost a year and i still absolutely love it!
My DH has a blackberry and he is desperately trying to talk me into getting one. I would rather pay off more debt first. He keeps saying 'but you could dis from anywhere' :rotfl2:

Debra: I've always wanted to go camping, but I don't like all the bugs :scared: I hope you have a great time!
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
So took Orion (my cat) to the vet and $255 later I still don't know what's wrong.
Thanks and :scared1:

Just banish her to the All Stars!;) It's sort of like Bangledesh compared to the Poly:lmao:
OMG :rotfl2: not Gramma!
Congrats on your new :laundy: That is my one appliance I could not live without.

I'm so angry right now I can barely stop crying.
Oh Dawn. I am so sorry

I have so much to do before our camping trip and more importantly our Disney trip. I feel so overwhelmed right now. I really want to call off the camping trip this weekend but the other family and our kids are set on it. I need at least two off days before our trip to finish shopping, cleaning, and packing. And after looking at my calander I'm not going to have a single off day until we leave. :scared:

I'm working tomorrow, Friday I am going on Chi's field trip, camping Saturday and Sunday and Monday, Working Tuesday-THursday, Friday I am off but the kids are out of school, Saturday we have ball games, Sunday I have church commitments, THen working the following Monday-Friday then we leave Friday after work for Orlando. I just don't know when I am going to get everything done. :sad1:

For the first time I am wishing our trip was in October still.

YES!!! I love that idea! :rotfl:

I'm so angry right now I can barely stop crying.
Oh Dawn - I had something similar go down with my last sale/purchase/move so I really do know how it feels... AWFUL!:hug::hug:

Well, I'm having the worst migraine I've probably had in years. :sad2: Nausea, horrible pain, etc.
Oh boy, I know all about that, too. Have you checked your thyroid levels lately? When my does was wrong I was experiencing more migraine activity. Just a thought.

I was carb free for two weeks but I dont' know what happened. I need to get back on track.
TWO WEEKS?!?! :faint: I'm pretty sure I'd die, lol! My max seems to be about 5 days before I have to get some kind of bread in me. But it does cleanse my sugar cravings so I can go back to eating healthy again... until the next SweetTarts craving.

Thanks for all of Ellie's Birthday wishes, she loved all her pressies plus she also got a camera from my Mum and Dad and some money from my sister and makeup from my step-sister. She has requested steak for dinner so I went and bought it earlier :thumbsup2

Today im having the day off. I got called off for work because theres not enough to do, and i didnt want to go across town for class since they are spread out and 1hr + travel time. So im going to play catch up and take notes here. Ill also get to do some household chores, play with potts, etc.

i decided not to go with the team to Reno because 3 days of them would either bore me or drive me out of my mind. So i was planning on staying home and studying, crafting and possibly being bored too. But then last night an even better opportunity arose! My friend CJ decided to have a party this weekend, and invited me to come down and spend the whole weekend with her. Im very excited because we havent had a lot of quality time together lately, but weve been talking alot and all of a sudden gotten much much closer in the past few weeks.

As icing on the cake...My dear dear friend Vega came home! When i was in florida i discovered he had moved to new jersey and was at NYU, and just talking to him made my night. Yesterday i was thinking about him wondering if he would come home soon, then last night i found out he just got into town! I called him and i was so happy i started crying. Hes one of those friends you just pick up with where you left off and everything feels normal and how it should be.:cloud9: Marc was really excited when i passed the news to him too.

So now im trying to decide if i should drive my car down, or take the train. If i take the train ill have to bum rides from people which could be kinda difficult. but id like to not put as much stress on my car too since its old (44 Years) Suggestions?

I was reading along while I've been busy and clicking on the posts I wanted to quote when I got time to do so...
Then the stupid computer crashed and I lost all my quotes and it totally frustrated me so I left. :rotfl2:

I'm fine.

Gus was home yesterday and today I went to the gym and then came home and slept for an hour! Bob's in Wisconsin so I have NO motivation to get off my butt. :confused3 He'll be home tomorrow though.

Yesterday we took Cappucino to the vet for his exam. Apparently he may or MAY NOT be a girl.... It's really hard to tell, I guess and the Dr. is still not 100% sure! They'll know for sure on Tuesday though. That's the "fixing" surgery... Not that it matters one little bit to me. I love him/her/it anyway! LOL

Hope everyone is well. if you need one!

I'm sorry about your computer/webcam :headache:. And I do hope your headache goes away

Thanks. The webcam's no big deal, just frustrating now that I know it's not working. The headache, well, it's better, but not fully gone. I can imagine driving to tennis in 10 minutes, so it is better.

 I'm sure it will turn out, but I can understand your frustration.

Oh boy, I know all about that, too. Have you checked your thyroid levels lately? When my does was wrong I was experiencing more migraine activity. Just a thought.

Hmmm. I just had a test in April, but it's a thought. This one could be, um, cycle related, but that doesn't explain last week's or the week before, though they weren't as bad.

Call the doctor CE:hug:

I will if they keep coming so fast.

I have a half hour to kill before I'm off to another meetingpopcorn::

How's that going?

So now im trying to decide if i should drive my car down, or take the train. If i take the train ill have to bum rides from people which could be kinda difficult. but id like to not put as much stress on my car too since its old (44 Years) Suggestions?

I love the train, but is it going to be hard to find rides?

Been missing you, girlie.

Essentially, I slept all day. I have done two loads of laundry now, though. I kept having weird dreams where D quit his job, and we would end up living in a hotel, trying to get him a job before we sold the house. I think I'm stressing for Dawn! ;)

I am not going to exercise, but I'm not dreading the drive to the gym, at least. I think I'll sit out and watch the kids - I'm sure they'll play outside, and it's 78! :thumbsup2 Sadly, the sun seems to be getting covered up, but some fresh air won't kill me. It may send my allergies into spasms, but it won't kill me. :rotfl:

So, we need to be off. Thanks for all the good wishes!
