Leo's doing better today. No fever and less sniffling; just the lingering cough to deal with. I'm not feeling great, but not awful either; I'll take it!

It is, however, raining, raining, raining. I'm guessing our riding lesson tonight will be a washout. I just hope our WDW weekend isn't. It wouldn't matter except that we were planning to spend lots of time at the pool. Guess I'd better start making an alternate, Rain Plan. Bleh.

I just made up a packing list for WDW using a template on the computer. I need to give one to Rockie this next weekend. I also have to copy our flight itinerary for her too. I know I sent her one. I should get her a folder to keep everything in apparently.

I may be absent the next couple of days. I don't know how long the hospital stuff is going to take. I have so much to do around here, especially since it is supposed to stay nice outside. I have to get stuff packed for the mini trip to King's Island this weekend too! Dang! I hope I have time to get back on here before I leave on Saturday. We won't be back until my birthday/Memorial day! I'm only working on Thursday night and I still don't have enough time.

Not much going on with me. Worked last night and thank goodness it was slow, which is rare for a Monday night. Now I'm afraid of what the rest of the week is gonna be like. I'm hoping the rain will keep the people away some.

Gonna take one of the cat's to the vet today, his eyes are looking weird so gonna get that checked out, plus he needs his annual exam that he hasn't had in a few years. I'm afraid of the bill already.

Won our tball game last night. Omicron got the game ball and oh, you should have seen the look on his face when the coach handed it to him . Sports do not come naturally for him so this was a big deal.
I'm working a half day today. Meeting with the gifted teacher this afternoon.
After school we have karate, tball practice, and two awards ceremonies for our 1st and 2nd graders. I had to get mom to help because I can't be in two places at once and Zeta wont get home until after everything is done with.

This weekend we are going camping but I haven't even started packing (or shopping). Luckily we are going with another family and they seem to know what they are doing

It's a him, his wife told him to leave a few years ago and he never found out why, he's so nice and is taking his 2 kids to WDW and has been asking me for lots of advice. I've basically planned his whole trip I get free international calls up to an hour so volunteered to do them for him

We had cork tiles throughout the house I grew up in and I LOVED it! It was sort of squishy and totally muffled sound. We had no basement, so the tile was laid over a concrete slab and it stayed nice and warm all winter.

It seems warm and soundproof-y and all sorts of cool things.

So, I had the tennis practice, then went to the grocery store. Came home, ate a little, and cleaned out D's car, (since he's back tonight, and we've trashed it. )

My web cam quit working, and I'm getting really weird messages about a USB device that is plugged in and not working properly. But I don't have a USB device plugged in. From the help forums at HP, it seems like that is probably the web cam - everyone was complaining that HP says the cam is listed under "imaging device" but it's really under "USB device" - and I have something on that list that says "Unknown USB device."

All in all, I think that's it, but it won't update or install a driver, the HP chat support guy I got this morning sent me to update my software, but not the driver (which didn't work) and so I think tomorrow I'll take it into Best Buy. I bought their 3 year protection/repair warranty, so I might as well use it. I've exhausted my self-help knowledge, and I am not an expert, but kind of know what I'm doing, so...

It's not that important, but Mom wanted to do a video chat, and last night was the first time I'd tried it in about 2 weeks. I do use it occasionally, so I'd like it to work.

Anyway, I've been messing around with that for an hour, I think, but I'm calling it quits.

That's really all I've got. The boys have a baseball game tonight, but it's not until 6:00, so I don't have to rush out once they get home or anything. D is having the co-pilot drop him off at the game, rather than coming home, as he should be in right about that time.

Did you get the pc fixed?? Did you try uninstalling the drivers? Maybe just remove the usb from the computer- i mean by way of clicking it and clicking "remove". then if you try putting it back in and the computer doesn't accept it then you know something is wrong. If I (or KC ) can be of any help lemme know!

Well I have managed to not play the SIMS 3 yet today. I had to get some food in the crock (some pork w some black cherry sauce) and cleaned up some. We decided to have a few people over on Saturday since no one has been over since we re-did the house. Just a few friends and some food and drinks and board games i think.

But for the rest of the day I plan to waste my time playing the sims 3. It is really cool. I am going to make a random character to see whats what, before I use the ones i made of me and KC. It's me, some iced tea, some chocolate chex mix and the sims 3.

And apparently KC has off on Monday. it's a miracle because they never get off! So i dunno what we're gonna d0 but something because it's a rare thing for him to have a day off. We may go to the base that day!

Nothing really to report here, Ellie made her Birthday cake earlier, she insisted on doing it all herself, I did help her crack the eggs though, and she did a good job, it smells great! I wrapped all her pressies earlier, she doesn't have much as she's already had her main pressie which is a phone and she wants her ears pierced but we'll get those done near to the end of school as you can't wear them at school. My Mum and Dad are getting her a camera, but that won't arrive till after she's at school tomorrow so the only pressies she has to open are just bits and bobs such as flip flops, big scarf thing that's all the fashion and a necklace Jess made her in tech out of metal!

Rockie's mom had a delay on her surgery. She didn't go in until 5pm. So I told Rockie that she and the girls could stay at my place tonight. It will probably be late by the time her mom is out of recovery. There's no sense in her driving back to Ohio tonight.

So I've been straightening up the spare bedrooms. My computer desk is the neatest it's looked in a year. I also just sent her a text to let her know if the girls get antsy, I can come and get them whenever.

We'll be hanging out tomorrow, we plan to do some people watching and picture taking. Heh heh heh. We saw some doosies on Sunday... 80 degree weather and these girls are wearing furry boots and Daisy dukes.

Hi everyone! I hope all is well. Hugs to those who need them.

Rockie's mom had a delay on her surgery. She didn't go in until 5pm. So I told Rockie that she and the girls could stay at my place tonight. It will probably be late by the time her mom is out of recovery. There's no sense in her driving back to Ohio tonight.

So I've been straightening up the spare bedrooms. My computer desk is the neatest it's looked in a year. I also just sent her a text to let her know if the girls get antsy, I can come and get them whenever.

OK if you want to have a life don't get the SIMS 3 LOL. I have played for 3 hours just on a random character, its so involved now! Crazy!

I gotta go make something to eat with the pork thats almost done, in the crock.
