TOmorrow the party doesn't start until 4:00 which means we don't have to leave until 3:00, so I will be able to get more laundry done then.

Hey all! to those who need it. I'm having a pretty good weekend-we went to Mohegan Sun (casino) today. We had lunch at Margaritaville and I made $104 on the penny slots.

Congrats!

BTW, spent the day wearing the crocs sporty adara style and am finding them to be really comfy.

Not much from me today. Went to the gym, cleaned the house and took a nap. Exciting huh?

My mom did ask me to plan a Disney trip for 4th of July, I was . It's because my aunt wants to come over and visit for that time. We'll see if it actually pans out.

Almost done with classes and will graduate on June 12 with the first degree. The next one will take me about 4 years. I am thinking of going to teach in Alaska when all is done. It will be quite the commute to the Mother Land but Alaska is so beautiful.

I have managed to get nothing done today.

After feeding the pugs breakfast, I fell asleep on the couch for a few hours. The pugs and I took a walk and then I had leftover Chinese food for lunch.

I'm now trying to nail down the plan for my September trip, and this will probably be it for WDW until next September so it has to count.

Afternoon Fockers!

Linds is still at church and on the raod with my dad. I had to go pick DR up this morning from the sitter. He had fun last night but is now paying for it. The sitter said he slept until 10 but as soon as we got home he fell back asleep. So the poor kid is definately not feeling well.

Nothing else planned for today. I told Linds we could get the sprinkler out and she can play in that this afternoon. Maybe I'll just pull the hose out though and just spray her. That way I can get the dog out there with her and let her play as well.

Well, I'm off to do dishes and start some laundry. Hope everyone is having a good day!

You could always change it to so that you are there over next Columbus Day...will be visiting my parents that weekend..just saying. We aren't doing a trip next year, but are planning a blow out for 2011. I am going to take the long weekend to visit my parents!

Be prepared for crowds, I was there Columbus Day 2007, not even realizing it was a holiday weekend and it CROWDED and Hot, though it was unseasonably hot, they were having August like weather

Ok so I have 2 plans:

Early flight on Saturday, arrive around 10 am, check into HRH

Sat - IOA
Sun - US

Check into BWV Sunday night and head over to Epcot and dinner at Tutto

Monday - Epcot morning/afternoon- AK EMH evening
Tuesday - sleep in and late morning ADR for CP and puffy goodness and lazy afternoon, MNSSHP at night
Wednesday - late start and DTD and DHS EMH evening
Thursday - Seaworld
Friday - DHS morning/afternoon, Epcot evening, Sci Fi or 50's PT lunch
Saturday - 11 am flight

OR

Now I like the looks of plan 2, but I figure the crowds for MNSSHP will be less on Tuesday, but I want the morning of and morning after to be free. The other times I have done MNSSHP I did KTTK or Segway tour that morning and had a lazy afternoon and I still pooped out early. I figure if I do very little I will enjoy the party more and stay later.

So is it better to risk the crowds on Friday and have more touring time the rest of the week? This is my only MK time, which honestly I'm fine with, I think I can cover what I want to at MNSSHP. Besides after another week at DL, I was reminded how much I don't like MK compared to Walt's park

I really want to do US, as 1. I have a free ticket and 2.I want to go befoer HP opens and the crowds are insane, this will be my last chance for a few years until the crowds die down a little.

As for Seaworld, I was going to go in February but then heard Manta was opening in the spring, so I postponed. I haven't been since 2003 and really want to do this to.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Our pool is out for the next few days just when we're having company (Miz Diz and family). It appears that a local cat, or goose, took the liberty of using the pool as a litter box. So much for swimming tomorrow. We're still having the BBQ and handing out, but a primary fun outdoor activity has been pretty much cabashed.

We had a good time with my aunt's visit. We spent most of yesterday going through old photo albums for her to help identify people. I think I'm going to need to look into the cost of getting photos and slides digitized. I don't think I have the time to do it manually on my own.

Hi, Margie! Glad you're nearly done for the summer at least. My cousin has lived in Alaska for the last 3 years or so. (His wife is with the National Weather Service.) They loved it at first, but can't take the "dark all day" winters anymore and are hoping to get transferred back now. It sounds nice for a while, though!

Well...

I spent a lot of the day in the doghouse. I think I'm finally out, due to a great time with the neighbors involving lots of beer.

First, I used the last of the coffee yesterday, and forgot, so that we didn't have any this morning.

Actually, that wasn't first. First, we had the alarm set to get an early start on the day for the boat. But we had been awakened by nasty t-storms around 1:30 in the morning, and D got up and checked the weather. It looked pretty bad for today (mind you, all week, we were SURE today was the best weekend day, but they somehow missed this huge front... )

So, we went back to bed for a while. Then there was no coffee. We discussed alternative plans, including driving up and seeing, maybe doing mini golf or something, or seeing a movie. D finally decided that he'd do some work around the house, and then I thought he said we'd decide what to do. He insists that he says we would then check the weather and decide about the boat for sure.

Anyway, we were not on the same page, so when my neighbor called as I was on the way to the grocery store, to get coffee and some other things on my list, she & I made plans for a cookout this evening. I figured, "Hey, good fun solid plans!"

D was ticked - he had still wanted to try the boat in the p.m., and I totally missed that. So, when - go figure - the weather cleared up at the lake by 1:30, he was just PO'ed. Then, for some reason, I got really into the 500 today, and he sat and watched nearly all of it with me, then started b%*#&ing about getting nothing done all weekend. Swell.

He wound up running to Home Depot around 4:00 and getting some bagged mulch, which he put down just before we went to the neighbors' at 5:00. After that, and some beers and good company, he seems to be in a MUCH better humor. The kids watched a movie over there, and we suddenly realized when it ended that it was after 10:00!

So, I've brought them home and got them in bed, but D is still at the neighbors', drinking beer on the screen porch.

We plan to go to the boat tomorrow. It's not going to be terribly warm - 72, which I love as a rule, but will be cool on the lake, driving around - but it's supposed to be sunny. Of course, we will need an earlier evening as it is a school night, but I figure the traffic will be so bad coming back that the kids will likely sleep in the car, anyway, so...

Wish us luck - the last two days have not gone as planned, and I will not be happy to live with Grumpy for another day if something else goes wrong.

Well had a pretty lazy Sunday. I stayed up late Saturday night watching Bride Wars (cute movie/ sorta crappy ending, it felt rushed..) and The Tale of Despereaux. Both were ok, I'm glad I saw them for free though.

Then woke up bright early and went to church, out to breakfast and grocery shopping with mom. Came home took a nap then went to the gym. Then my mom and I decided to have a BBQ just the 2 of us . It was raining most of the day, but we just sat in our screened-in terrace and enjoyed.

Then my friend Yani came over and we hung out (which we haven't done in forever) and then went to go see Angel & Demons.

Today I start my first DAY of work. I hope it's not too busy.

That lanyard still is the BEST Dis finder I had several chance meets due to it.Some people (Non Dissers) just stopped me and asked what it meant I showed them the Focker greting and they all loved it !!!

Today we've finished packing for camp and went to the cinema to see Night at the Museum 2, it was good but a bit slow. It's now about to absolutely chuck it down, hope it doesn't rain for the girls the next few days
