That sounds fun. We have had a water ban for a couple of years and are not allowed to run sprinklers.

Ya know...I don't think we've ever had a water ban here in OH, or even in WV. Now when we lived in TX, we had it all the time.

I got called out of work today because theres not much going on, so im leaving right now. Im just trying to give my phone the most charge i can so i can listen to all my podcasts on the way down and not worry about draining my battery.

Well I won my golf My handicap is 11 and the lady I played was off 8 and we played off scratch so in theory she should have won. Well I was 2 down after 3 holes (I managed to hit myself with the ball on the third hole which is automatic loss of hole ) but I then won 7 of the next 11 holes to win 5 & 4 The team should have also been thrashed but we managed to win 3 & 2. We're playing the team again but at their course next month so need to win there too and we're through to the next round

They've been together for months, but it is in name only, they don't go out anywhere together or even meet up its just that in her class they all have girlfriends and boyfriends. He's actually a very sweet boy

Me, too. The only one by me is technically in Mass. It's down by the mall, so traffic stinks, and then in MA, you can't sell wine in grocery stores, so no 2 buck Chuck for me. Oh, well...

I grilled up some terrific chicken lime burgers for me and D for lunch, though.

The boat was fun. It was 93 down here, but only 78 up there, so it got fairly cold on the boat, but we just motored around and then stopped at one of the town docks for ice cream. I actually finally got some pix, but haven't uploaded them - I'll get them up soon.

There's baseball tomorrow at 9:00. The high temp at the lake is meant to be 68, with possibility of rain. I'm actually advocating a boat boycott for tomorrow - that just sounds miserable - and going back for Sunday, which is supposed to be sunny and 77. We'll see.

Partly, I don't know if I can face another turkey sandwich picnic meal...

It's late, and we have the early baseball, so I'm off to bed. I didn't get anything backed up, so even if we do the boat boycott, I doubt I'll take my computer in tomorrow, unless we really do stay home all day long.

The boys are only 1 & 2 so they thought MK was the one to visit. They're also going with BIL's cousin so the parks aren't really on the agenda!

The boat was fun. It was 93 down here, but only 78 up there, so it got fairly cold on the boat, but we just motored around and then stopped at one of the town docks for ice cream. I actually finally got some pix, but haven't uploaded them - I'll get them up soon.

Sears called last night and said my washer and dryer would be here between 7:45am and 9:45am. At 7:50 exactly the truck pulled up. They are in the process of unhooking and rehooking as we speak. It's great becasue I don't hav eto sit around all day doing nothing waiting for them and I can get laundry done, but I really didn't think thay's get here this early so I am still in my jammies

Jimmy has a 9:15 hair appointment, then I have a 12:00 hair appointment. And I am getting a pedicure! Then it's back to the real world. I have a ton of ssince I only got about half done last week before the drier died

Morning...
Well, we're homeless. We're staying with my mom. We sold our house yesterday, but our buyers waited too late in the day to close for the loan to fund, so we can't close until Tuesday. Part of me was mad at first, but I think I'm too tired to care anymore.

So, K and I went to dinner and to look for a new table for the breakfast area, but we didn't find one I like. I want something inexpensive, but not cheap or cheap-looking. C and A and I will be doing school there and all the coloring, glueing. etc. that school requires. So, I don't want to be too upset if it gets scraped or written on.

We also have a swim party today to go to. That'll be fun. We finally get to go back to our old church tomorrow too. It's been three years and we miss all our friends there so much.

K's working Monday to make up for taking off yesterday and needing off Tuesday. So, that's my exciting weekend...

I hope so, Janet. I've just thought it was almost over so many times... But we HAVE to close Tuesday. That's our contract date. I found out that they sellers almost dropped us and re-listed their house. Thank goodness they gave us until Tuesday with an extra earnest money deposit. All of the drama was because of our buyers, not us. It has been the most stressful thing I think I've ever had to deal with.

Thank goodness it's almost over!

DR officialy now has what Lindsey had and is Mr. Clingy. When Lindsey is sick she's pretty content to sit watching TV or head to her bed to sleep. Oh not Mr. DR...he wants to cling and be held and whiny. I can't get anything done!

He was supposed to go with our sitter tonight to watch some kind of race thing but he won' be going now. Poor kid was so looking foward to it but its for the best that he stays home.

Linds has her last t-ball game this afternoon. I think I'm actually going to miss the games.

I heard from my ex last night and he might now take the kids for the summer. I wish he would make up his mind on what he wants to do. I'm sure it'll be wait until the last minute type deal with him as always.

That's about it for us. I need to get the dishes loaded and some laundry started before t-ball. Hope y'all have a good day!

Well I got a 35% off pin code from Disney today. Of course it's for DISNEYLAND, not WDW. But I'm thinking of taking advantage of it. Be nice to spend a few days away from reality next month. Gonna go price some stuff today.

It's a nice quiet day here. The weather... meh, it's not so great, though. I had hoped to get the pool opened up, but it's just not warm enough.

Tomorrow is our Build-A-Bear Girl Scout outing to DTD. That should be fun. Other than that, it's a calm weekend.

Nope. We removed the lock box from our house. Legally, they can't move in until the loan is funded Tuesday morning. I have to say that it makes me happy that they are being inconvienced too. It's their fault this whole process was so hard.

I hear you on the hormones. C is turning 8 in a few weeks and she's starting to get all weepy. She's always been my "good" kid too.

We had the early baseball game today, but it's only 61 and it's cloudy, so we nixed the boat today. 61 and sunny, I could deal with, but not in the clouds. That sounded miserable.

So, I've spent a couple of hours backing everything up on my computer, so I can get it into Best Buy.

That does mean I'll likely be really hit or miss here and on FB, because I'll have to fight D for his computer. Sigh. But right now, he only has a trip on Wed. I'm sure he'll go into the office a day or two, but then he doesn't take the computer. I just have to hope he doesn't get a big trip for the second week.

Well, I fell asleep on the couch and D went out to Home Depot. I called Best Buy and they say that they wouldn't send the computer anywhere 'til Tuesday, anyway, so I see no need to run it over today and be without it for 2 extra days. I'm glad I thought about that - the holiday weekend and all.

So, for now, I'm "normal" except that we'll probably be on the boat tomorrow and Monday. (As normal as I ever I am, I guess... )

Back from hair, eyebrow, toes appointments. Stoped at Koh'l on my way home to get something to wear to the party/bbq tomorrow. ALso got Jimmy 2 more bathing suits for the summer on sale for $7.20 each. THen I went to the grocery store. We dicided to grill today even though its just us, no company (Thanks goodness). I got some hotdoggs for Jimmy and a couple of steaks for Jim and I. I am going to bake up some taters and some corn on the cob and dinner there shall be

TOmorrow the party doesn't start until 4:00 which means we don't have to leave until 3:00, so I will be able to get more laundry done then.

I do have to run out to get the gift card and anniversary card for my brother and SIL. I also have to pick up a veggie tray to take with me. I will probably do that after we eat
