Day number two of no food... the world is looking bleak. I think I might chew on my mouse cord in a few minutes.

Just kidding. I made it through yesterday, but dang, there are a lot of commericals for food on at night! I was cran-ky.

I'm so glad tomorrow's the day. By now I'll be in surgery- off to dreamville. I'm taking the kids to K's mom's today so they can sleepover and hang out with her tomorrow while I'm in surgery. Then my mom's bringing them to see me Friday. After that they'll go home with my mom until Tuesday. K's off all next week to help me. My friends are bringing meals starting the week K goes back to work, so that will be so helpful. They offered to clean my house, but I told my friend there's no way my family will leave it a mess for fear of the wrath of mommy when I get moving again.

Janet- How's Jimmy today? I know the couple of times the kids got hurt while K was here he felt so awful about it. Poor Jim.

I'm sure there's more to comment on, but if I saw mention of food, I skipped the post. Sorry. I'm hungry.

Good morning ladies. I am back from my mom's. I had her over for dinner and she said ds could spend the night at her house. She then said I should join them in case she needed help with ds. Her back is still not feeling better. The surgery on the neck helped her neck but all the back pain is still there. We went to the store and I bought the snacks for this weekends camping trip and then off to mom's I went.
I spent near $100 on junk food for this weekend. I could not believe the cost of some fruit, chips, beer, and fruit drinks.
DD's bff is going to go for sure with us to WDW. Her mom was down yesterday to ask a few questions. She said I had the trip more well planned out then she ever would. She also said her dd would get to do a lot of things with us she didn't get to do on their trip.

We will be leaving for camping and a side trip to my aunts for the holiday weekend. What are everyone else's plans for the fourth? We all have matching shirts to wear, I even got one for my dd's bff. They are of course the Disney Fourth of July ones. Hope everyone has a great day.

Every year I want to make more crafts and do fun things, but it's not happening this year. I did buy a little flag for the yard and patriotic glow bracelets, but I gave them to the kids after the Camp Rock movie since I knew I wasn't going to be home for the 4th. It was fun to watch the kids jump onthe trampoline in the dark with glowing bracelets!

Feeling any dread at all ?? Even when I have been in pain and needed surgery to fix it... I still would get afraid of what was to come.

I am feeling better today... just still cold. Happen when I get strep> Sara is back to her old self so maybe I will be later today.
\We have an appointment tomorrow with Joshua... to discuss braces he needs them . Not sure if he or us can handle them

As I was leaving...and this is the best part...the vet slips me his card with his number on it. Apparently, he finds me hilarious and cute. So, there was an upside to the night.

Now...good-night. I'm off to sleep some before my interview tomorrow. And to dream about dear Dr. Dugger.

Is it JULY ??? Yesterday our temperature was 76 degrees and NO HUMIDITY.
Whats up with that .. Today it should be in the low 80's..

Imagine how quiet it will be...me, Jo, T, V, LL, Mel, Lessa, Kat, Z, Mo, CE are all going to be gone for some stretch of time (at the same time)

No. I'm trying not to think about what could go wrong. I figure that's not going to help me get through it easier. I'm so happy to be almost recovering.

I have to be at the hospital in San Antonio at 5:30a.m. So, I'll probably leave my house about 4:45. At least I don't have to wait half the day and start freaking out. Early is good.

I finally drug myself outta bed for the puppy (for the 4 th time since 11 pm).........and now he wants to sleep. And he chewed on my new coffee table. And peed on the rug.
God made puppies cute or we'd never put up with this.

He is REALLY cute! His little ears are so-o-o soft! Of course he's over 15 pounds now so getting heavy to carry around!

Hi ladies, I am home from work...and what do I come home to but Jimmy with a huge lump on his head and a cut under his eye He wanted something of of the shelf in his room so he climbed the bookshelf, and tried to get it down. By doing that he pulled the shelf down, bonked himself in the head and put a cut over the bridge of his noe and under his eye. Jim called our neighboir who is a paramedica and he came and cleaned it up. No stitched needed (Thanks goodness) I would like to point out that these things always happen when I am NOT home. Jim broke Jimmy's leg when I was at work and he was home with him . Carrying him down the basement steps, lost his footing (in slippers I told him 2 weeks before to throw out ) and fell. He rolled to try and prtect Jimmy and slammed his leg into the railing

On the shelf were 3 limited edition Disney Bobbleheads

So.....how is everyone elses day

Hope he is doing fine. Sorry about the bobbles. At least Jimmy's head isn't bobbleing after the fall.

I know---I've now put painters tape (blue) around the edges and sprayed with Bitter Apple--looks and smells great!

Why do you have to go so long with out food? Isn't it usually just the night before surgery?

I don't know... It seems like unfair torture to me. It's 48 hours of liquids (no milk products today) and then at noon today, the dreaded pills that keep you in the bathroom for hours.
I just hope I can keep the pills down. They are HUGE!!! I have to take 20 in one hour with 8oz of liquid every 15 minutes. Blech. Thinking about it makes me feel sick.

I really haven't been "hungry"- just annoyed that I can't eat. I did get a headache last night and have tummy pains, but I just got my big girl panties on and dealt with it.
I may have whined to Kirt if it was all "coming out", why couldn't I eat. He found that humorous. Whatev.
