Team ChipnDale do Universal/Disney

Well its another early start today, doing HP again so Ella can ride it now shes fully up and running, think jet lag hit her hard this time.
Pastmore was really good value, would eat there again. Last night we ate at Magaritaville.I have to say Scott makes better burgers, but the Volcano of Nachos were amazing, what i didnt like though was our entree being served before we'd finished our Nachos:(
Watched Universals Parade and 100 year anniversary show yesterday, they were good but not a patch on a Disney Parade or show. They both were missing that magical ingredient IMO
Weather has been hot but not too humid so far. We just had a 10 minute downpour yesterday, but i think more tropical rain has been forecast for sun/mon. Hopefully it will miss us.
Not having much luck with photos(sorry) I think i will have to do a picture report when i get home.

Don't worry about pics thanks for taking the time to update.

I wished I had ordered the nachos at margaritaville when we went they looked great.

Today is they day when we move to The Yacht Club:cool1:
Its Memorial weekend and the hotel and parks are really really busy. We will drop bags and have a walk over to HS for our Si fi Diner reservation. This is always our traditional first Disney meal. I dont expect to get on any rides today as its also Star Wars Weekend.
The I-4 was closed yesterday due to a big bush fire. It was causing all kinds of problems during rush hour last night, its now out but could flare up again.Hopefully it wont cause any more traffic chaos as ive booked a surprise stretch limo to take us to our hotel;)

The most amazing thing has just happened,we booked a standard view room at the Yacht Club and have been upgraded to a Lagoon View:banana::banana:I am in a state of shock, it is just the most beautiful view ever:goodvibes I even started crying:rolleyes1(much to the kids embarrassment). Feel like I've been sprinkled with a ton of pixie dust.

Great news, look forward to seeing a pic of your view (when you get home):goodvibes

Wow, that's brilliant.

loving your trip report...don't worry about the photos, we will just have to use our imagination for the time being:)

How wonderful to get an upgrade..pixiedust:

Strangley enough if we are offered an upgrade at POR to a Princess room I will turn it down...much to busy on the eyes for 21 nights!

Looking forward to the next installment:goodvibes

Another fun filled day today which started at 5.45am with surfing lessons for Ella and Billy at Typhoon Lagoon. It was quite exciting being one of about 20 people (12 sufers) in the park in the dark:goodvibes It was a well run experience with four instructors and three lifeguards there for us, the only thing that was missing for me was a much needed coffee:rolleyes1 The lesson lasted until the park opened at 9am, and they both mnaged to ride a few waves.
After an energetic morning we went to Perkins for breakfast:cloud9:It was delicious, with huge servings and the best pancakes ive ever tasted, and good coffee too.
Much to Billys disapointment we WALKED to Downtown Disney, got the bus back to the YC and then sat on our balcony and watched a great storm.I think its the edge of Tropical Storm Beryl.
We then managed to get to HS to ride Star Tours for the first time since its refurb, then kids did Tower of Terror and Star Tours one more time.
As if thats not enough they want to go to the pool and swim:eek: Me, i need to do some washing:sad1:
Pizza window tonight then bed:thumbsup2

Loving the report! :thumbsup2

Sounds so amazing especially with the upgrade :cloud9:

Ahh the typhoon lagoon surf lessons sound fun ::yes::

Sounds like you are all having a great time!

Fab news on the room upgrade too! :thumbsup2

Rain rain rain, and more rain today, but in no way did spoil our day at AK.Even with all the bad weather it was still busy.kids managed to to Everest and we then went to watch Nemo:goodvibes
We made a decision today to cancel Chef de France and skip ESPN and do Citricos instead,as there was nothing on the French menu for Billy and we've done ESPN lots of times before. We love the Grand Floridian so fingers crossed weve made the right choice.
At California Grill tonight, and hopefully it will stay dry for Wishes:cool1:
Tomorrow is MK then Biergarten. Then Thursday I've requested a day off::yes::

Enjoy your meals - sound lovely choices. I like the look of citricos - going in October for the first time.

We had an amazing meal at California Grill. I was nervous about how Billy would cope with the food but I needn't have worried, our server Ron had obviously come across fussy eaters before and looked after him really well. We had a table with a MK view so we could watch Wishes whilst having dessert:goodvibes
Had a pool day yesterday which was much needed by me. The pool entertainment here is great it kept Ella and Billy entertained all afternoon. Then after that we all decided to eat at different Countries in World Showcase.I ate CS at Morocco, Billy had a baguette fron France,Scott and Ella went th China, then we met in America to eat it:)
As it was such a beautiful evening we got the Friendship boat to HS. The evening was a great time to visit here as most of the park was really quiet with exception to the TOT area.We rode Star Tours again, got Funnel Cake and then went to watch The 10.30 showing of Fantasmic, this has to be one of my favourite shows:goodvibes
I can't believe how quickly this holiday is going. I don't want to think of next Friday. I will just have to immerse myself in some sort of TR with pictures when I get home:rolleyes1

Glad you enjoyed CG, unfortunately I won't spend 2 credits trying it again, experience was so bad on our only visit there. Too many other places we enjoy or still to try.

Time always passes far too quickly on holiday :sad1:

Sounds like you're having a magical time. Thanks for sharing it with us! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes
