Just swinging by to cheer on my fellow Hercs! :cheer2:

My surgery is next week, hoping by late August I'll be able to finally contribute again to our team. My left quad is still bothering me - I'm really hoping this forced time off will allow it to finally heal. I will get that Donald medal!

I'll swing by again in a few weeks. Go team! :yay:

Shan - Best of luck with your surgery! I hope it goes well for you. Take it easy for your recovery and you'll be back running strong before you know it. I hope that quad of yours gets better. Have you tried visiting a chiropracter who specializes in Active Release Techniques? It may be worth a shot. http://www.activerelease.com/ It has helped me a lot with various issues (hip flexors, shin splints, piriformis).

As for me this week is off to a slow start. I had the best intentions to run over lunch but got stuck in a meeting until 12:20, then had another one at 1:30 so there just wasn't enough time. It started pouring in the afternoon so I just went to hot yoga instead. The rain here has been terrible. I'm waiting for summer to arrive!

Good luck team!

I have done 8 miles and about 100 minutes worth of shoveling since I last posted. Unfortunately I haven't done any WiiFit, so the balance board is going to yell at me the next time I do it. Maybe sometime soon I can unearth the treadmill or hit the track.

HEY TEAM!!!

Leana
: Thanks for setting the thread up
Shan: Good luck with the surgery.
GirtheGecko: Hope you find the treadmill or track soon!!

As for me, my first week of real training since MINNIE and the knee is doing great.

ran 11.8 miles
118.5 minutes
cross train: lift/yoga/pilates/core
230 minutes

Hope everyones training is going well!!! GO TEAM :yay:

For the week for me:

Running: 17 mi, 2:57:35
Biking: 42.5 mi, 3:28:33
Swimming: 55:31
Boot camp: 2:30:00
Yoga: 1:30:00

Total: 11:21:40, 60.8 mi
Total, with doubling for my race: 13:37:05, 73.9 mi

I didn't know this was here so I have still been posting on the May thread! Sorry about that. I'll have to go over and get my numbers and re-post here. I'm too tired right now and need a shower so I'll have to do it later.

my June totals are 20 miles not sure of time, just put down distance

June was a very busy month. My dd graduated HS  it is very true about time going too fast! don't blink or they are gone.princess:

hope everyone is well.princess:

Ran twice in Maine last week. I didn't have a pedometer but I think it was about 2.2 miles each time and about 30 minutes each run so call it 4.4 miles and one hour total.

Allyson :)

Congrats Leana!

I'm checking in, unfortunately I'm not helping Team Herc out so much. :headache:

Surgery was two weeks ago. I've run into a few minor issues, but overall I'm doing OK. The thought of running the WDW Half seems a little daunting right now, though! :lmao:

Work has been insane, I've got shrimp and fish flying out the door. Then to add to the fun, I've gotten sick. But, I can breathe again. Then catching up on housework. It's amazing how quickly it piles up. There's 24 hours in a day, but it doesn't seem enough. But the dbf is back to help out. He was off working on a movie and I rarely saw him. Basically he came home to crash and bless me with dirty socks.

I can add some shoveling, never ending ice throwing, 300 minutes since I last checked in.

I have the dbf on treadmill excavation and it's coming along. I can see most of it!
