Teacup Piggies- Walgreens find

Had recently purchased at piggie at TRU for 15.00...they had plenty. But since I had heard on here people had spotted them at Walgreens..I stopped in today...and sure enough they had several.....the price on them was 12.99 which I thought was still good and was going to purchase...got to check out and it rang up $9.99!!! The woman said it wasnt in the sale flyer but that price would probably be good through Saturday. She really didnt have an explanation at all as to why they were ringing up 9.99..but I took it and ran!

So if anyone is looking for them...it is for sure worth stopping in your local Walgreens!!! That woman made my day!

No Walgreens around us have them I did get DD one last month at TRU and am so glad I did. Now it is just blank shelf space and the little "piggy UPCs" LOL

My DD asked for this and I picked up the last 5 at my Wal-Mart today for all my nieces...I will go see if my Walgreen's have them since that is a better price -

are they going to be a hot toy this year? Do I need to go soon?

I had never heard of these before this morning. There was a commercial on while the kids were eating breakfast and they are so cute!!! DD asked me if I wanted them for Christmas I told her no, but she might get them so that I can play with it.

I am thinking so...but it certains places...like here in Tennessee not that many people seem to know about them or want them.....but just from reading this board they are harder to find in some states.

Our walmart or Target has not had them...just TRU and Walgreens.

I want to say on the box of the one I got at Walgreens says 8+...but my DD is 4....

I knew they had them! I had sworn I saw them there a couple of weeks ago. . .I didn't know what they were. . just thought they were cute and something my DD8 would like. Now that she wants one, I can't find any. I think I will hit more Walgreens today. Thanks for the heads up.

Qvc is carrying them. I have no idea how this compares to prices, just heard someone talking about them the other day. I did think I head that this has an extra outfit or something with it.


If I had a DD , I would have, I mean SHE ; ) would have all of them LOL. They are sooo stinking cute!

I will look at my walgreens , I might get this to put in my gift to donate to school for needy families.

Same thing happened to me. Thanks to this board, I went to 2 Walgreens last wknd. The second 1 had them very high up on the top shelf in the toy dept. Had to get someone with a ladder. Anyway, I needed 2 and when they rang up, they were 9.99 each, even tho marked 12.99. So I was very happy!! My TRU hasn't had them in weeks!! They are cute!!

I saw them at Radio Shack for $14.99. They came with an outfit, a mp3 player (it might have been fake), tea cup, piggy, and I think something else was in the box. The box was much larger than the one sold at Walgreen's.

My DD8 wants one, but I have already purchased her Christmas presents...so I am still debating...

I looked at them there, but they only had one color. And the man said that's the only color they come in--pink. Sinced I have 2 DD, I opted to go to Walgreens so I could get 2 different ones. I will try to find outfits at TRU hopefully before Christmas. I wish Radio Shack had a variety cuz that was a good deal!!

Oh thank goodness, I just asked my DD about these and she said she thought they were weird. Didn't like Zhu Zhu pets last year either. Let's hope this doesn't change because it is kind of nice not having to worry about finding the toy that everyone wants. LOL
