teacher souvenirs

We brought back mickey shaped rice krispies ona stick. Teachers loved thema nd then no clutter.:goodvibes

we brought back some of the bags that fold up and have a little carry bag and are on a clip. We also brought back little Mickey head keychains. They were made from the same material that the antenna toppers are made out of. They also have the Mickey head shaped pencils I dont think that they were that expensive.

As a teacher I would love pens and pencils, post its, note pads, makers, any school supplies! I do have to say, as nice of a gift as a mug is, after only teaching for 2 years my kitchen cabinet was full and I had to send some off to Goodwill so I had room for my glasses! Any nice gesture is appreciated, though! :goodvibes

DS has brought stickers, post it notes and pens. One teacher used punches for the kids assignment notebooks, so he got her the castle one. She used it the next day!

Coffee mugs are a good bet. If you are looking for something a bit lower priced, go for attraction or WDW pens, pencils, or notepads. If you have younger kids, get the teacher a stamp and ink pad set to stamp on the kids work when they do a good job (like some do with putting stickers on the work). :thumbsup2

I guess I am a major budget board cheapie.

I spoke to DD teacher to find out what countries they will be studying in 3rd grade. Then I made an Epcot passport big enough to hold photos and a place for the Cms to sign. I plan on taking pictures of each country, the CMs in costume, etc. and adding it to the passport when we get back.

On each countries main page, I put the word Hello so in each country the CM can write hello in their native language plus I put "Mrs. XXXX 3rd grade class" and hoping they can write that also.

Once we are back, I'm going to dis-assemble it, laminate everything, and put it back together so the teacher can use it year after year in her classroom.

Maybe I need to rethink this idea or add something more personal for her.

We were just faced with this issue a few months back in May.

We purchased a couple of sets of the cute "green" bags with Mickey-shaped trees on the front & divided them among the teachers. I also included a neat Tinkerbell-shaped glycerin soap in each bag. All the teachers that received the gifts just raved about both items.

I found all of those items at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney. Basin also has some neat soaps in different colors decorated with small Mickey heads throughout.

Good luck! :thumbsup2
