Teacher Requirements

My daughter is currently doing her student teaching. She will graduate from Florida State University in May with the credentials to teach social sciences for U.S. middle and high school. She will soon be looking for a teaching position. She has always wanted to live in the U.K. and would love to teach there. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could point me to a website that defines the requirements for teachers in the U.K. DD realizes that she might have to take additional courses to teach in another country.

i believe there's a young woman from the UK who posts on here, her screen name is Kath2003, i think, i know the Kath part is right, she's either a teacher in the UK or in college to become a teacher there. aside from posting on the UK board, you might also PM her and ask. i'm sorry i don't know anything about it myself, but congrats to your daughter!
