Thank you so much for the supportive responses. I guess I really knew what I had to do even when it isn't the easy thing. I gave a copy to the principal tonight, we are a very very small school. I just pray that my kids don't pay the price for my complaint. The principal assured me that this won't be the case and that he will pass it on to the school board and the superintendent. I trust him and know that he will make it go where it needs to go. I will keep you posted as to what happens. I also had a meeting tonight with the coach because my son wants to quit basketball (which is his love) because of so many reasons. The biggest being the rumor mill and
his grades being flashed around the team. The coach point blank lied to me about something I know is for sure the truth. My oldest son is a very very black and white person and doesn't lie, let alone make something up.
He heard the coach talk about the grades, in front of the health class. WOW!!!! I just let him know how relieved I was that he wasn't part of it. It is hard enough to grow up when peers are mean let alone when adults are too. I hope he understood that I would except his denial this time but not in the future.
Thanks again for the support. I am glad I am not the only one who was mortified by this entire thing.
Could we all live at Disney were life is happy all the time
