Teacher gifts..how much $$$

I know what to buy has been discussed, but how much money do I spend? I am going to buy Staples gift certificates, but is $10 too little?

I think that is fine. I mean I think 20-30 would be too high!

We got my DS6's kindergarten teacher a $30 Target GC.

I was planning to spend $10 each (there were 4 teachers at ds's preschool). I ended up spending $15 each because that was the smallest gift card Starbucks had! Oh well, they DID deserve it, awesome teachers.

I think it really depends on your situation-- for example, how many teachers you have!. For my daughter's First grade teacher, I went with a $20 gift. For my younger daughter's preschool teachers, (there were 2 of them), our class each contributed $10 for a class gift.
