Hello,
We leave in a week and I was thining that I must got something from Disney for DD's teacher. She has never been to Disney and she is 25. What would be a good gift for her, any ideas? We will be gone during Teacher appreciation day and DD really likes her so it is a must.
Thanks

We just came back and bought something that the Teacher and
the Class would like a Book about the making of Disney:
"Walt Disney Imagineering--A behind the Dream Look at Making the Magic Real". I also had to get a copy for myself and it is fastinating.
The book is 191 pages long and covers everything about how all the History of the parks, rides, ect. were first thought of and created. It goes into great detail.
Very Educational. The Teacher loved it. I cost $29.95 and I purchased it
in MK.

We always bring back DD's & DS's teachers some WDW canvas tote bags.
Often, the resort gift shops run a special.....a WDW tote for $10.00 with a $40.00 purchase at the gift shop.

We usually spend so much on souvenirs that we come home with 4 or 5 of the tote bags.

*Btw, it's so nice of you to think of your child's teacher. I love it when one of my students brings me a souvenir from his/her vacation.

i'm a teacher (23) and would love things that i usually use but with a fun twist...cute post-its, pens, thumbtacks/magnets, picture frames, etc.

a tote bag (as mentioned above) or any kind of bag would also be great! little mickey earrings i would love, too! :goodvibes

thanks for all the suggestions! I was thinking about those Mickey crystal earings but not sure if she even likes Mickey since she has never been to Disney. I even thought about mickey ears with her name on them :confused3 but I think one of the other suggestions will work better, like and ornament or stationary set.

Keychains - the perfect gift. I also have a Mickey ceramic pencil holder that's really cute.

It's really thoughtful of you to think of your child's teacher. :goodvibes

DS has brought back the following gifts: Minnie mouse teacher pin, antenna ball, stationary, pens, packaged candy, a mickey cookie cutter, a magnet and key chain, and a christmas ornament.

I was thinking about doing this too, I wanted to get something personal for the teachers and then something for the class, maybe the Mr. Potato Head?? What do you think? I like the idea of the book too!

Hi! We also bring things back for the teachers. In the past we've gotten books, stationary, candy, pens, and magnets. The teacher my son has this year has never been to Disney, and asked if I could bring her back maps of each park, just so she could see them.

I always let the kids pick out a pin for their teachers....we also pick up a bag of chip and dale cookies or preztels so the kids could bring a little something back for everyone.

The best teacher gift any of my students EVER gave me came from DisneyWorld! My student, Billy, knew I LOVED Cinderella. When he was going on his trip, I told him to tell Cinderella I said hi! When he came back a week later, he gave me a plastic, double-picture frame. (Two plastic frames, attached side by side, w/the frames longways/horizontal--maybe $1 or $2.) One horizontal frame had Cinderella's autograph that said "To Mrs. XXXXX, love, Cinderella" The other frame had a picture of Billy standing with Cinderella! That was THE BEST gift ever. It hardly cost anything and the family put so much thought and time into it! Billy gave me that frame 8 years ago, still have it and will never forget how excited he was to give me that homemade gift!
