This is one way. Get a card reader. Put your card into the reader and a blank CD-R or DVD +/- R, whichever one you have, into your burner. Click "my computer" and select the drive representing the card reader. Then select the pictures you want to save and go to edit and click copy. Then go back to "my computer" and select your burner drive and click paste.

If you have XP and a cd burning drive do the following:
1 - open the file with the pix
2 - highlight (select) all the pix
3 - right click; highlight "send to",
4 - choose the drive that is your burner (F, G, C, D, etc) right click
5 - a balloon will appear stating you have files to write
6 - click on the balloon
7 - write click and choose burn to CD
8 - Wizard will start

Thanks for the replies ...I don't have XP - so that didn't work for me - I guess I should have said that I have the photos already on my desktop (under my pictures)---I didn't do this when I downloaded them from my camera it automatically did that & saved them by date...now I just need to get them on a disk for others....& while I'm asking questions - can I save more than 1 folder to the disk?

do you have a CD buring program like Roxio CD creator or something that came with your computer?

I don't know - :confused3

there must be my dh has saved a photo that was emailed to us once to a cd & then took to be printed - so I would say yes??? :confused3

have you tried putting all the photos you want on the disk in one folder and then dragging that folder into the CD's empty folder. It would work on a Mac. I've never tried it on Windows (and both our window's machines run xp so I can't try it) but I don't think it could hurt.

What OS are you running on what kind of computer?

or ask your DH to show you what he did?
